Keeping the popularity of Shahrukh Khan’s chartbuster song 'Chammak Challo' in mind, director Neelakanta is planning to name his new film ‘Chammak Challo’. This song has become a super hit, irrespective of the fate of ‘Ra.One’. Neelakanta is soon going to direct Varun Sandesh in a film and it is learnt that the director is toying with the idea of naming this film ‘Chammak Challo’.

Known for offbeat films, Neelakanta is trying something new with this film. That means, the director is going to direct a youthful love story with lover boy Varun Sandesh. This film’s success is very important for both Varun Sandesh and Neelakanta as the duo is desperately waiting to score a big hit since long time. We have to wait and see whether this film earns them good hit or not. The rest of the star cast is yet to be finalised. On the other hand, Varun Sandesh’s new film ‘Priyudu’ is slated for December 2 release.

Youth hero Varun Sandesh, who is eagerly waiting to score a path breaking hit, has pinned hopes on his latest film ‘Priyudu’. Sravan is making his debut as the director of the film. The film is produced by P Uday Kiran under UK Avenues banner. Preetika Rao and Swetha Basu Prasad are the female leads of the film. Mohan Jona is the music director and Malhat Bhatt is the lens man.

The film is touted to be a youthful love entertainer. Currently, the post-production works of the film are in full swing. Earlier, the makers have planned to release the film on November 25. Now the latest buzz is that the film’s release is postponed to December 2 following some pending works. The first copy of the film will be readied by November 25. Youth star Ram’s mass entertainer ‘Kandirega’ completed its 100 days run yesterday. The film has Hansika, Aksha as female leads. Sonu Sood played comedy villain in the film. Music of the film is scored by Thaman. The film became super hit at box-office. Bellamkonda Suresh has produced the movie under Sai Ganesh Entertainment banner. Santosh Srinivas made his debut as director with this film.

Speaking on this occasion, producer Bellamkonda Suresh thanked the audience and production unit for making this film a big hit. He also said that their efforts were rewarded and the film has collected a record breaking share among Ram’s films.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s next offering ‘Panjaa’ audio was launched yesterday amidst huge fanfare in a grand event at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad. The event was graced by celebrities including Pawan Kalyan, Dr Brahmanandam, Ali, Anjali Lavania, Sara Jane Dias, Rajamouli, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Vishnuvardhan, Rama Rajamouli, Rana Gaggubati, Keeravani, NV Prasad, etc.

The first copy of the CD was released by Rajamouli and he handed it over to Pawan Kalyan. The 2GB memory card comprising all the songs from Pawan Kalyan’s films were released by Power Star himself. He also felicitated IIT topper Immadi Prudhvi Tej on this occasion.

It is estimated that over 10,000 fans were present at the venue but only 5000 members were allowed inside. Despite having exclusive passes the remaining 5000 were stranded outside. There had been a traffic jam on the highway for almost 5-6 hours. The trailers of the film were released on this occasion and met with approval from Pawan Kalyan fans. There are huge expectations from the film and we are hearing a positive buzz from the industry circles as well.

The song shooting of Manchu Manoj’s forthcoming film ‘Mr Nokia’ is in progress at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The unit is planning to wrap up the shooting formalities with this schedule. The talkie aprt of the film is completed and the post-production works are going on simultaneously at fast face. Kriti Kharbanda and Sana Khan are playing female leads in the film.

Recently, the production has shot some important scenes on the lead actors in RFC. Yuvan Shankar Raja has provided the music for this movie. The audio will be released in December. The story of the film revolves around a man who faces unexpected situations and twists in his life. How he successfully chases them and settles the things is the rest of the story. The film is a comedy entertainer.

Producer DS Rao said that the movie is coming out very well and Manoj is donning a full length hilarious role for the first time in his career. He also performed spine chilling action episodes in this film. Over all, ‘Mr Nokia’ is a laugh riot, he adds. 

Anushka, who is currently busy with Nagarjuna’s socio-fantasy film ‘Damarukam’, has been roped in as one of the female leads in the multi-starrer ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. When contacted, Anushka’s manager told that producer Dil Raju has approached the actress and offered her the role of Venkatesh’s love interest in the film.

Earlier, there are reports that Bhumika has been roped in as female lead. The makers even approached Nayantara, Trisha for this role but none of the actress were interested to feature as Mahesh Babu’s sister-in-law, says our source. Venkatesh and Anushka earlier acted in 'Chintakayala Ravi', which went on to become an average grosser at box-office. Samantha plays the other heroine opposite Mahesh Babu.

‘The Dirty Picture’, which is touted to be the biopic on the life of south Indian sex siren Silk Smitha, is going to hit the screens on December 2, which happens to be the birth anniversary of the item girl. The makers have decided to dub the movie in Telugu with the same title as Silk Smitha is very popular here. This version will have a simultaneous release with its Bollywood version on December 2. Vidya Balan essayed the role of Silk Smitha in this film.

Indra Films have acquired the theatrical rights of the movie for an astronomical amount, claims our source. The film is being directed by Milan Luthria. The film portrays the hurdles faced by the item girl in her real life, especially in Tamil industry. The film celebrated its shooting mostly in places like Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai. The makers have shot a song in Hyderabad’s Golconda Fort.

Tollywood heroine Anushka is facing the brunt from Income Tax officials. The actress house in Banjara Hills was once again raided today by the IT men with in a span of less than two months. Earlier, houses of Nagarjuna, Anushka and Ravi Teja were raided by the IT sleuths for alleged land dealings. As per reports, they’ve seized cash in lakhs, bank pass books and valuable documents from the actress's house.

The raiding is still going on and the officials are inquiring the actress about the handed over documents. The actress was at home along with her parents when the IT officials entered the house. However, Anushka’s manager Raghu condemned the news and added that the raid was conducted on Anushka’s neighbor’s house who is a granite businessman.

The reason behind the house raid is the 'Arundhathi' star's alleged land purchase worth Rs 5 crore.
