Srinu Vaitla, who is riding high on the success of ‘Dookudu’, is going to direct Young Tiger NTR in his next project. The film will go on floors from February, 2012. Right now, the director is giving final touches to the script. A leading heroine is set to romance NTR in this comedy-action entertainer. The film will be produced by Bandla Ganesh under Parameswara Arts banner.

Meanwhile, NTR will complete his current project ‘Dammu’, which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu. The actor has also agreed to work with Puri Jagannadh in a mass entertainer. This film will hit the screens sometime in mid 2012. NTR’s last film ‘Oosaravelli’ failed to live up to the expectations.

On the other hand, Srinu Vaitla is going to direct Ram Charan after completing this project which will be produced by Aswini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies banner.

Challenging actor Jagapati Babu, who is capable of essaying any kind of role with ease, has recently agreed to act in a Tamil film, which is going to be directed by AL Vijay.The film is tentatively titled ‘Thaandavam’.

Vikram plays the protagonist of the film. He is donning the role of a spy for the first time in his career. Hollywood actress Amy Jackson is romancing Vikram in this spy thriller. Anushka Shetty is playing an important role in this film.

The film is being produced by UTV Motion Pictures with whopping budget. The film will have its regular shooting from December onwards. The makers are planning to release the film for summer. GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in as music director. The film will be a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu languages. Earlier, Jagapati Babu has shared screen space with Rajinikanth in ‘Kathanayakudu’, which is the Telugu version of ‘Kuselan’. This will be his first ever straight Tamil film. Sahaja Nati Jayasudha, who has been going on and off screen for quite some time, has essayed an important role in Balakrishna’s featured project ‘Adhinayakudu’. The veteran actress told that she has portrayed the role of Balakishna’s grandmother in this powerful action entertainer. Our readers are aware that Balayya is donning three versatile powerful roles in this film. One of them is of an old politician and village head role. We came to know that the actress has acted as wife to this old character of Balayya in this film.

Hence, she has become the mother for the second role and grandmother for the third one. The actress stated that she is very much satisfied with the kind of role offered by the makers and added that it is one of the pivotal roles of the film. The film is being directed by Paruchuri Murali and produced by ML Kumar Chowdary.

The movie is out of pongal race officially and will have its release on January 25 on the occasion of Republic Day.

Sunil’s upcoming comedy entertainer ‘Poolarangadu’ is gearing up for January 14 release. The shooting of the film is almost complete except for four songs. The producer of the film, Atchi Reddy, held interactive press meet today to brief about the movie release. Speaking at this occasion, he said that ‘Poolarangadu’ is going to release in 450 screens world wide. He also added that the film offerd lots of entertainment and has wonderful story line. He concluded by saying that the director of the film has depicted the love story in an entertaining manner.

That means Sunil is set to lock horns with several biggies like ‘Business Man’, ‘Nippu’ and ‘Bodyguard’. Sunil’s last film ‘KSD Appalaraju’ was a disaster at box-office. The actor has pinned his hopes on this project. This film’s success is very important to both the actor and the director. ‘Gamyam’ fame Krish Jagarlamudi’s dream project ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ is going to be launched in the first week of December. The muhurtham ceremony will be held at Ramanaidu Studios in the presence of leading film personalities. Special arrangements are being made by the makers for this event.

The film is being produced by Jagarlamudi Sai Babu under First Frame Entertainments banner. This is director Krish’s home banner. The film is set on the backdrop of mafia. Rana is playing the role of Reddappa in the movie. The heroine of the film has not yet been finalized. Its reported that recently the makers have approached Anushka for the role, whose approval for the project is awaited.

Rana is currently busy with ‘Naa Ishtam’ and ‘Department’. This will be his fourth film in Telugu and sixth film overall. More details are awaited.

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s latest film ‘Business Man’ audio release has advanced by a week. Recently, there were reports that the audio of this action thriller will be released on December 23. But, due to some unknown reasons the makers have chosen to release the audio on December 18 at a grand gala event. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to grace the event as chief guest and release the audio.  

The venue of the event has not yet been finalized and the makers have said that the function will take place amidst huge crowd in Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannadh are crooning for the theme song of the film. After ‘Dookudu’, music director Thaman is again providing music for this Mahesh starrer. Kajal Aggarwal is the heroine. The film is slated for January 11 release.

Pawan Kalyan, who is awaiting the release of his latest film ‘Panjaa’, is set to join the unit of his new film ‘Gabbar Singh’. The next schedule of the film will commence from December 2 onwards at Pollachi. The unit is planning a 40 day long schedule over there. The director is gearing up to shoot few crucial scenes of the film on Power Star, Shruti Hassan and other star cast of the film.

Earlier, the makers had announced that this schedule will progress in November. But, following severe backache of Pawan Kalyan and heavy rainfall in Pollachi, they were forced to cancel the schedule. The film is likely to hit the screens in April. Devi Sri Prasad has recorded three excellent tunes for this film recently.  This will be Pawan’s second film with Ganesh Babu after ‘Teen Maar’, which failed to meet the expectations.

Ace director Ram Gopal Varma’s most controversial film ‘Bezawada’ underwent censor formalities yesterday. The film was awarded 'A certificate' by the board members. The board also asked the makers to cut few scenes from the movie, as they found those scenes offensive to a set of audience.

When the film went to censor scrutiny a couple of days ago, the board members showed no mercy on the film and insisted that the makers chop 20 major cuts. The film was re-censored yesterday, due to special permission from Film Chamber. The air has cleared and now the film is gearing for release on December 1 with lot of hype.

Amala Paul is romancing Naga Chaitanya in this action entertainer. The film was directed by debutant Vivek Krishna. Kiran Kumar Koneru and RGV are the producers of the film. Kota Srinivasa Rao is essaying an important role in this film.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s most sought after action entertainer ‘Panjaa’, has completed its shooting along with its patch works yesterday. The makers broke gummadi kaya to mark the film’s wrap up. The mixing and re-recording works of the film are progressing in Chennai under the supervision of music director Yuvan Shankar Raja and director Vishnuvardhan. The unit has shot a couple of scenes on Power Star and the film’s cast yesterday.

The audio of the film released recently garnered positive response from the public. The first copy of the film will be readied by this weekend. The film is slated for December 9 release. Sara Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania are paired opposite Pawan Kalyan in this film. Bollywood star Jackie Shroff and Adivi Sesh are playing important roles in this film. Dr Brahmanandam is playing his hilarious best police character in this movie.
