Star writer Kona Venkat, who recently tasted success with Mahesh ‘Dookudu’, is on cloud nine. This year seems to be a lucky year for him as he bagged another big project recently. The writer is currently busy penning script for Meher Ramesh’s untitled film. He also made his Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s ‘Ready’ early this year.

The latest news is that Venkat is going to provide script for Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s new film to be produced by Danayya. Not only that, the talented writer was asked to prepare the story of the film as well. This film will be launched after the release on ‘Panjaa’. Earlier, Kona Venkat has penned dialogues for Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Balu ABCDEFG’. This is going to be his second film with the actor.

The news was confirmed by Kona Venkat on a micro blogging site Twitter. He said he is very excited to be part of this film as he admires Pawan Kalyan a lot. 

Contrary to the reports of Shruti Hassan being replaced with Ileana in Pawan Kalyan’s featured project ‘Gabbar Singh’, the director of the film has clearly said that the actress is still part of the project. He also confirmed that she will be the heroine of the film. In yesterday’s edition, a popular news paper posted the news of Ileana replacing Shruti Hassan in Gabbar Singh. When we contacted the director, he condemned the news and cleared air on the rumors.

The reason behind the circulation of this rumor is Shruti’s success ratio. The actress so far hasn’t scored a hit and for that matter, it was rumored that the makers of the film had decided to replace her with either Richa Gangopadhyay or Ileana.

The film is produced by Ganesh Babu. So far, Devi Sri Prasad has composed three excellent tunes for the movie, adds our source. Pawan Kalyan is playing the role of ruthless cop in the film. The film will hit the screens in April, 2012. 

Renowned writer JK Bharavi is turning director with a film titled ‘Adi Sankaracharya’. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. Nagarjuna is playing an important role in this film. According to reports, Srihari is acting as Lord Siva and Kannada Super Star Upendra is essaying the role of Raja Amaruka in this film. The film launched a while ago is currently in its third schedule. Right now, the shooting of the film is going on at fast pace in Hyderabad.

Kutti NTR alias Kaushik Babu is donning the role of Adi Sankaracharya in this film. Sai Kumar, Suman, Roja, Prakash Raj, Jayaprada, Rohini, Anand, etc are playing key roles in this film. If the rumors are to be believed Anushka is set to play an important character in this film. Global Peace Creators are the producers and Nag Srivatsa is the music director.

It seems Super Star Rajinikanth has not yet fully recovered. In a recent check-up the doctors, who attended him advised complete rest till February. Now, it looks like making ‘Rana’ with the Super Start isn't possible for some time atleast.

Actually, Rajini was supposed to start shooting for ‘Rana’ in January. But following the doctor’s advice the actor has shelved this project for few months.

According to our sources, Rajini has asked the makers of ‘Rana’ to come up with another subject on the lines of ‘Chandramukhi’, which doesn’t require much of heavy-duty action episodes, unlike this film.

This new film of Rajinikanth will be produced jointly by Dr Murli Manohar and Eros International. KS Ravi Kumar is set to direct this film. We came to know that the makers have already started searching for the right script that suits the present health condition of Rajinikanth.

According to our sources, King Nagarjuna’s forthcoming periodic film ‘Rajanna’ audio launch function has been cancelled due to unknown reasons. It is learnt that the songs of the film will be released directly in to the market on November 26. The film is set on the historical backdrop of Telangana movement. Keeravani has provided music for this film.

‘Rajanna’ is currently in the final leg of its post-production works. Nagarjuna’s look in the film is entirely different from his previous films. The first look stills released a while ago has multiplied the expectations on the film. The actor is desperately waiting to score a big hit with this film. The fans of the actor are very confident over the film’s success. Vijayendra Prasad, who faced a ban in Tollywood recently, is turning director with this film. The makers are aiming December 23 release. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is deeply involved in the shooting of his next film ‘Damarukam’.

The long wait of Devi Sri Prasad is over. The taleneted and energetic music director, who is capable of scoring any kind of tune, is all set to provide music for Super Star Mahesh Babu’s new film for the first time in his career. The movie will be directed by Sukumar. The director is currently giving final touches to the script and pre-production works of the film. Tamannah has been roped in as female lead in this film for the first time opposite Mahesh.

The movie is touted to be a very stylish action film. Mahesh is sporting a new avatar, which is entirely different from his previous movies. Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta, who earlier made ‘Dookudu’ with Mahesh, are going to produce this film under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. The film will go onto the floors in January, 2012.

Star director Rajamouli, who is known for making big budget films, is going to start his next project in April, 2012. The film will have Young Rebel Star Prabhas in the lead role. Shobu Yarlagadda, who produced films like ‘Vedam’, ‘Maryada Ramanna’ and ‘Panjaa’, is set to produce this film under Arka Media banner. The regular shooting of the film will start from April onwards.

Presently, Rajamouli is working neck and crop for ‘Eega’. The star cast and the rest of the details of this new film will be announced soon. On the other side, Shobhu is busy with the post-production works of ‘Panjaa’. The film is slated for release on December 9. This will be his second film with Rajamouli. The movie is said to have war backdrop. MM Keeravani is scoring music for this film.

Meanwhile, Prabhas is busy with ‘Rebel’ and Koratala Siva’s directorial venture tentatively titled ‘Vaaradhi’.

Producer Suresh Kondeti has acquired the dubbing rights of super hit Tamil film ‘Engeyum Eppodhum’. AR Murugadoss has produced this versatile love story. The film has Sharwanand, Anjali, Jai and Ananya in the lead roles. The film was made on a very low budget and become a huge commercial success at box-office. It is learnt that the film has collected close to Rs 20 crore in its full run. Not only that, the film has won critical acclaims for its convincing screenplay.

The movie is titled as ‘Journey’ in Telugu. The audio released recently and received positive buzz from the public. The makers are planning to release the movie on December 2. Suresh Kondeti is very confident over the film’s success in Telugu as well. The film is directed by M Saravanan. The movie is going to face stiff competition from Telugu straight releases which are releasing on the same week.

Well, the story isn't over yet. After a public announcement and a paper ad with break-up, it seems the producers of Dookudu are now under the scanner of IT department. We have learnt that the IT officials have raided the production office of 14 Reels Entertainments banner on November 21. The IT sleuths also raided and conducted search operations at Anil Sunkara’s Jubilee Hills residence and didn’t find anything in particular.

The most sought movie of Power Star Pawan Kalyan ‘Panjaa’ is gearing up for release on December 9. Currently, the post-production works of the film are in full swing. The makers are taking utmost care for the bringing in the quality output of the film. It is learnt that the re-recording by Yuvan Shankar Raja is the highlight of the film. The audio of the film released recently and received excellent response from public.

The latest buzz is that ‘Panjaa’ is going to be dubbed in Tamil as ‘Kuri’. The audio of this version will be launched in second week of December. The makers are planning to release the movie for Pongal. Thala Ajit Kumar lends his voice for Pawan Kalyan in this film’s Tamil version. Keeping in view of the popularity of Vishnuvardhan and Yuvan Shankar Raja the trade pundits are predicting wonderful run for ‘Kuri’ at box-office.
