Venkatesh is doing Swami Vivekananda

The long wait is over. Victory Venkatesh is all set to act in a new film as Swami Vivekananda. The film is being jointly produced by Suresh Productions and Bhairav Productions banner.

The shooting of the film will start in the second half of 2012, says the source. The fim will be directed by Bollywood director Mani Shankar of ‘Knock Out’ fame. Currently, the director is giving finishing touches to the script.

Meanwhile, Venaktesh is also planning to launch his son Arjun as a child artist in the remake of Hollywood film ‘Karate Kid’. The actor is keen to remake this film in Telugu with himself playing the role of Jackie Chan. However, nothing has been confirmed as yet regarding this project and the movie may take little while to go live.

Venkatesh is presently awaiting the release of his new film ‘Bodyguard’, which is due for Janaury 12 release.

Pawan Kalyan’s Panjaa to be screened in 1800 theaters

Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film ‘Panjaa’ is opening in as many as 1800 screens worldwide on December 9. The makers and the distributors are planning to screen over 9000 shows on the first day of the release. Considering the star power of Pawan Kalyan the theaters will be crowded for sure. There are already huge expectations from this film and the pre-release positive buzz of the movie is a very good sign. The distributors already filed a form for permission in the respective police head quarters across the state for screening 5 shows per day.

The advance booking of the movie has opened and the tickets are sold out in few places already. The fans of the actor already started decorating theaters with garlands and flexes. Mid-night shows are being planned in few places tomorrow and the talk will be out by early morning of December 9. Pawan Kalyan will be seen as a powerful don and his name in the movie is Jaidev alias Jai. Pawan desperately needs a hit now and let’s hope he lives up to the expectations this time.

Vikram’s Veedinthe music release today

The audio of Vikram’s upcoming movie ‘Veedinthe’ is going to be released today. Yuvan Shankar Raja has compsoed the soundtrack for this masala entertainer. Deeksha Seth is romancing Vikram for the first time in this film. The story of the film revolves around the land grabbing issue. How's the hero involved in it and comes out of it, is the rest of the story. Seenu Vasan has provided the script for this film.

Suseenthiran is the director. The film is the dubbed version of Tamil’s 'Rajapattai', which is slated for release on December 23. The audio of this Tamil version will be launched on December 9 in Chennai. Kalatapaswi K Viswanath is playing the role of Vikram’s grandfather in this film. The dubbing rights of the film were acquired by Suresh Movies Distribution. The makers are planning to release the movie in Telugu on December 30. Shriya Saran, Reema Sen and Saloni are playing cameos in this movie.

Balakrishna to romance Parvathi Melton

Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is balancing his career with mass and mythological films, is looking forward to his next movie under the direction of Ravi Chavali. The film will commence its regular shoot from January onwards. Ramesh Puppala, who earlier produced ‘Mirapakai’, is producing this film under Yellow Flowers banner. The movie is presented by RR Movie Makers.

The makers of the film have finalized Parvathi Melton as one of the heroines of the film recently. The item girl of ‘Dookudu’ is in huge demand now and certainly this will add some hype to the movie.

She is also shaking her leg in Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’ as an item girl for the Telugu version of 'Munni  Badnaam Hui'. She is currently busy shooting for ‘Yamaho Yama’, which also features Sai Ram Shankar and Dr Srihari in lead roles.

On the other hand, Balayya is wrapping up the shooting of his new film ‘Adhinayakudu’. The film is expected to hit the screens on January 25.

NTR is locking horns with Nagarjuna

Nandamuri Taraka Ratna (NTR)’s new film ‘Nandeeswarudu’ is ready for release. It seems that the hopes of NTR were doubled after the film’s audio release. The songs of the album are good and slowly getting positive vibes from public. Singer Parthasarathy has turned music director with this film.

The teaser released on the audio launch day looks promising and the fans of the actor are going wild on it. We came to know that the dialogues of the film written by Paruchuri brothers are very powerful and catchy. The film is the official remake of Kannada film ‘Deadly Soma’.

The buzz is that NTR has played the role of a powerful don in this movie. Currently, the post-production works of the film are in full swing. The makers are planning to release the film on December 23. That means, this film is set to have a tough competition with Nagarjuna’s ‘Rajanna’, which is also due for release on the same day. We have to wait and see who will register a hit this time at box-office.

Siddharth and Amala Paul’s Love Failure

After tasting a flop with ‘Oh My Friend’, actor Siddharth has pinned hopes on his next release ‘Love Failure’. The film is being directed by Balaji Mohan. Amala Paul of ‘Bezawada’ fame is romancing Siddharth in this film. The success of the film is very important for both the stars as they’ve delivered a series of flops in Telugu. This film is a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu.

Siddharth is taking utmost care to make this film a hit at box-office. The film is being produced by S Sashikanth under YnotStudios banner. Siddharth is also co-producing this movie under his new banner Etaki Entertainment banner. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer and also one of the producers of this movie. Thaman has been roped in as music director of the film. The makers are planning to release this film for summer holidays. Siddharth’s last bi-lingual film ‘180’ was a diasaster at box-office. 

Ram Charan-Vamsi Paidipally film shoot from February

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s immediate project after ‘Rachaa’ is set to roll from February, 2012 onwards. The film tentatively titled ‘Vaade’ is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Dil Raju is going to produce the film. Currently, the director is working on the script of the film. A popular heroine is set to romance Charan in this family entertainer. This film shows Charan in a different light from his previous films.

Vamsi made his debut with ‘Munna’. His last film ‘Brindavanam’ was one of the biggest hits of the year. This will be his third film in his career as a director.

After this project, Vamsi Paidipally may work with Power Star Pawan Kalyan. The director himself confirmed the news that he is taking time to ready a subject to suit Power Star and is eager to show him differently in the film. That film too will be produced by Dil Raju, says the report. Looks like Vamsi has shifted his base from Nandamuri camp to Mega clan.

Gopichand marriage in February

Macho hero Gopichand is entering wedlock in February. As per reports, he is going to marry a Hyderabadi girl named Haritha, who pursued her Masters in Australia. The girl’s family owns a couple of businesses in Hyderabad. After going across various profiles of producers and directors daughters, Gopichand has finally settled for an arranged marriage with this girl. The elders of both the families are planning for an engagement ceremony in January. Everything will be done in traditional fashion, adds a close aide of the actor.

The girl’s family is not related to film industry. Whereas, Gopichand’s family is in industry from decades and his father late T Krishna is a famous director and producer. Looks like Tollywood has more to celebrate this year than just with films as the young brigade of the industry getting hitched one after the other. Recently, Ram Charan was engaged to his girl friend Upasana Kamineni. Now, Gopichand will follow the suit.  We wish the soon to be young couple Best of Luck.

Nara Rohit’s success tour for Solo

Nara Rohit’s latest film ‘Solo’ unit is planning success tour from December 6 onwards.

The film has received mixed reviews and is an average grosser at the box-office. The film was released with decent number of prints on November 25 and witnessed good opening figures during its first week. The film is directed by Parasuram and produced by Vamsi Krishna Srinivas under SVK Cinemas banner.

The tour begins on December 6 from Vishakhapatnam and Vizianagaram and continues till December 16 across various places in Andhra Pradesh. The makers are also planning to hold the triple platinum disc function of the movie in Vishakhapatnam’s Gurajada Kalakshetram on December 10. Several celebrities of Tollywood are expected to grace the event.

Rajamouli’s suspends Eega shooting

Maverick director SS Rajamouli’s most sought animated movie ‘Eega’ shooting has been suspended by the director himself for two days. The shooting of the film is almost complete except for climax sequences. The director is currently busy canning the climax of the film and he has noticed that he is shooting only 12 shots a day. Usually, Rajamouli shoots minimum 25 shots a day and this is the reason that the director is having second thoughts on the output of the film. Rajamouli started checking and editing the scenes he shot so far and as a result, the shooting has been halted for a couple of days.

Several foreign technicians are working hard on this film to get the best output on screen. Rajamouli is leaving no stone unturned. Nani is romancing Samantha in this film. Kannada super star Sudeep is playing antagonist of the film. Keeravani is providing music and Sai Korrapati is the producer. The film will have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil on March 30.
