Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming film ‘Dammu’, which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu is currently progressing at rapid pace in and around Hyderabad. The unit was supposed to leave to Pollachi for a 40 day long schedule but due to poor weather conditions the schedule has been postponed to a later date.

The latest buzz is that the first look of ‘Dammu’ will be unveiled for Pongal, 2012. The movie is expected to release in the last week of March. There are lots of expectations on this movie as Boyapati is capable of catering racy mass entertainers with intense action episodes. Being star power NTR too enjoys in mass film. The film is set to have record pre-release business, says the buzz.

Trisha and Karthika are playing female leads, while Bhanupriya is essaying NTR’s mother role. Comedy hero Venu is playing an important role in the movie. Music director Keeravani has already composed 4 songs of the album.

Super Star Mahesh who is working round the clock for his films is planning a family holiday for approximately 20 days post ‘Businessman’. It is learnt that he will fly to Singapore along with his wife Namrata and son Gautam Krishna to spend some quality time with them. The audio of ‘Businessman’ will be launched on December 22 at Hyderabad’s Shilpakala Vedika. It seems Mahesh will leave to Singapore after this event and also after shooting for few commercials.

The actor will return before January 11, which happens to be the release date of ‘Businessman’. He will actively take part in the promotional activities of the film, as and soon he returns home. The shooting of the movie will be wrapped up by today. Currently, the dubbing formalities of the film are going on at Shabdalaya Studios, Hyderabad.

Kajal Aggarwal is going to dub her lines for the film to give native feel to her character. The movie is shaping out with very high expectations. Recently, the producers of ‘Dookudu’ announced that the film has made Rs 100 crore at box-office and became the highest grosser of Tollywood. There are reports that Mahesh is charging Rs 12 crore as his remuneration for each movie post ‘Dookudu’. This has made IT sleuths raid the Film Nagar residence of Mahesh Babu yesterday.

Mahesh Babu was not at home when the raids happened. And he is currently unavailable for comment.

Meanwhile, the media asked the director of ‘Dookudu’ Srinu Vaitla to respond on this development and the director politely refused to say a word in this regard.

King Nagarjuna, who is waiting to register a big hit with ‘Rajanna’, is satisfied with the output of the movie. The story of the film revolves around a little girl who tries to change the mindset of the people who are struggling to fight against the Britishers and Zamindars as per her father’s motto. Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s new film under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally titled ‘Yevadu’ was launched at Prasad Labs today. Mega Star Chiranjeevi graced the event and sounded the clapboard. The film will start its regular shooting in the early next year. Allu Arvind, Allu Arjun, Dil Raju, Vamsi Paidipally, Ram Charan, etc attended the event.

The music of the film will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Abburi Ravi has been roped in as the dialogue writer. Samantha is set to romance Ram Charan in this film. Chota K Naidu is the camera man and Ashok is the art director. The film has a blend of family drama, love, action and entertainment, says producer Dil Raju.

Currently, Charan is busy shooting for his forthcoming film ‘Rachaa’. He also signed a movie under the direction of VV Vinayak. The film will go onto the sets from February. The actor is sporting a new look in both these films.

Ravi Teja is playing the role of a sports coach. Deeksha Seth is the heroine of the film. The story of the film revolves around a girl who will become a sports champion under the guidance of Ravi Teja.

The shooting of the film will commence from December 11 onwards at exotic locales of Turkey, where the unit is planning to film a couple of songs on the lead pair. The movie might be postponed to January 25, as the makers feel that the movie will take lot more time than expected.

It is heard that in ‘Nippu’, Ravi Teja has done a serious role without his trademark comedy and punches. Right now, the movie is carrying negative report and many feel that the title of the film itself is a bad idea.
