Youth hero Rana Daggubati’s new film ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ under the direction of Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi (Krish) was launched today at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. Keeravani has been roped in as music director of the film.

Venkatesh, K Raghavendra Rao, Dil Raju, Gemini Kiran, Rama Rajamouli, Keeravani, Ramanaidu, Aswini Dutt, etc attended the event. Ramanaidu and Raghavendra Rao offered special poojas to the script of the film and handed over it to Krish after the pooja ceremony. Director Krish’s father Jagarlamudi Sai Babu is the producer of the film.

Venkatesh sounded the clapboard for the first shot that was filmed on Rana. K Raghavendra Rao switched on the camera. The muhurtham shot was directed by Ramanaidu. 

Ajay Manthena, who impressed one and all with his performance as one of the male leads in Ravi Babu’s latest film ‘Nuvvila’, is acting in a film titled ‘O Manasa’. The film has completed its talkie part and currently the post-production works are going on at brisk pace. Aparna Bajpai is playing female lead of the film. Sahaja Rao is making her debut as the director with this film. She is also scoring music for this family entertainer.

The audio launch of the movie will be held soon. Adithya Music has bagged the audio rights of the movie. Noyal and Vanamali have penned the lyrics for the songs of the film. SR Umesh is producing the movie under Spair films banner.

Banerjee, Satish Melkote, Madhumani, Arun Kumar, Priyadarshini, etc are playing important roles in the film. The movie is expected to hit the screens in February.

Mass Maharaja’s upcoming film ‘Nippu's' shooting has completed except for a couple of songs. Currently, the unit is in Turkey filming songs on Ravi Teja and heroine Deeksha Seth. Producer YVS Chowdary has made it clear that the film is slated for release on January 13 worldwide. The movie is set to hit the screens with record number of prints in Ravi Teja’s career.

Earlier, there was news that the movie might get delayed due to some pending work but the statement from the producer has cleared the air on the release date. The movie offers Ravi Teja mark entertainment and Gunasekhar’s technical brilliance with songs being filmed in exotic locales in abroad. The audio of the film will be launched in the last week of December.

Dr Rajendra Prasad, Dr Brahmanandam, Supreeth, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Mukul Dev, Krishnudu, Brahmaji, Pradeep Rawat, etc are playing key roles in the movie.

Dashing director Puri Jagannadh’s coming soon film ‘Businessman’ has wrapped the entire shooting formalities recently. Right now, the re-recording works of the film are progressing at fast pace in Shabdalaya Studios. The post-production works of the film will be completed by December last week. The first copy of the film will be readied by December 31.

Recently, the makers of the film gave a thought of pushing the movie ahead on January 6 but due to some undisclosed reasons the makers have finally settled on January 11 release worldwide. The makers are planning to arrange the premiere of the movie in US. The audio of the film will be released on December 22 in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.

Mahesh is playing the role of Surya and has taken the character to next level, says Puri Jagan. The songs filmed on Mahesh and Kajal are a treat to watch on screen, adds Puri. Thaman has composed beautiful music for the movie.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s next offering ‘Rachaa's’ shooting is progressing at brisk pace in Talakona forest. The film is being directed by Sampath Nandi on Mega Super Good movies banner. Tamannah Bhatia is romancing Charan for the first time in this film.

The makers of the film are in the plans of releasing the film in Tamil and Malayalam languages along with its Telugu version. The reason behind this is the unexpected increase of the production cost of the film. The makers of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Businessman’ are also doing the same thing to garner huge openings and make the film a safe bet.

Now-a-days the film makers are eyeing for a grand opening and hence are releasing the movies in multiple languages simultaneously. But unfortunately none of such released movies have tasted success at the box-office. But let’s hope both ‘Businessman’ and ‘Rachaa’ will break the jinx this time.

Rana Daggubati's new film ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ will start its regular shooting from December 14 onwards at Hyderabad. The day actually happens to be the birthday of the actor. The movie will be launched on the same day at Ramanaidu Studios. Anushka is set to romance Rana in this mass entertainer. Rana is essaying the role of Reddappa. His role will be entirely different from his previous movies. The movie is based on the mafia linkups.

The film will be directed by ‘Gamyam’ fame Krish. Earlier, the makers had approached Kajal Aggarwal for the heroine’s role but she couldn’t say Yes as the film demands bulk dates of the actress. The film will be produced by Krish under his home banner First Frame Entertainments.

There are huge expectations from his movie as Krish is known for making movies with underlying social message along with commercial elements. We have to wait and see how Rana impress the audience with this film.

The shooting of Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s upcoming movie ‘Rachaa’ has resumed today at Rayala Cheruvu, in the outskirts of Tirupathi. The director is filming crucial scenes on the lead actors over there. Later, the unit will travel to Talakona forest to wrap up the pending fight sequence of the movie. Actually, this entire fight sequence is supposed to be shot at China’s Bamboo forest but following poor weather conditions the unit has returned home in the mid way of the shoot.

The entire unit of ‘Rachaa’ offered special prayers to Lord Balaji at Tirumala yesterday. This was Ram Charan’s first visit after getting engaged to Upasana Kamineni. ‘Rachaa’ is expected to release in first week of March. Earlier, the makers planned to release the film for Sivarathri but due to some unexpected delay the film’s release is pushed to a later date.

Youth hero Aadi, who made a promising debut with ‘Prema Kavali’ is trying his luck with a new film titled ‘Lovely’. The film is currently in the final leg of its shoot. The director of the film B Jaya is planning to shoot the pending scenes and songs of the movie shortly.
