Director Maruthi of ‘Ee Rojullo’ fame is the talk of the town currently. He made his debut with a small film which is expected to become one of the biggest hit in terms of return of investment. Apparently, because of such a hit he has already been flooded with offers from several producers.

We have been informed that producer Bellamkonda Suresh has signed the director for one of his future production for a whopping amount. Even the actor for the production has been fixed. It is going to be none other than hero Nitin, who has bounced back recently with hit film ‘Ishq’.

However what we have also heard is that the final story has not been fixed and it would take some while for this project to go onto sets.

Our readers are aware that only one song is left to be shot for the completion of Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming film ‘Dammu. The makers are planning to make it a special song and are reportedly roping in two popular heroines for this particular song. According to sources Rachana Mourya and Tashu Kaushik are said to be the lucky heroines who would be part of the song. The song would also feature the heroines of the film Trisha and Karthika as well. Shooting of the song would begin from March 27.

Meanwhile all arrangements are being made to make the audio launch of the film a grand one. ‘Dammu' will have its audio launch on March 29 in Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad.

‘Dammu' is being directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Alexander Vallabha. The film is slated to release on April 27.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan has resumed the shooting of ‘Racha’. He has finished the balance portions of the song Dillaku Dillaku yesterday and will now leave to Pollachi for the shoot of the final song. It must be remembered here that it was during the filming of this song earlier in the month that Ram Charan had injury to his leg, which resulted in the shoot being postponed.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan realizing that he would be out of station as a result of this song’s shooting arranged a press meet to celebrate his birthday a day in advance. He once again confirmed that the film would arrive on April 5 and that everything except the filming of one song was complete.

‘Racha’ stars Ram Charan as hero and Tamannah playing the heroine opposite Charan. Music for the film has been composed by Mani Sharma. Sampath Nandi directs the film.

Daggubati Rana and Genelia D’Souza’s Ugadi release ‘Naa Ishtam’ has been a disappointment at the box office. The film was the first release for Rana after nearly a year and also it was the first movie of Genelia to release after marriage. But nothing could salvage the film from the onslaught by the audience and the critics.

While the film opened with highest collections in the three film old career of South Star Daggubati Rana but it did not sustain the intial collections and showed a steep fall immediately.

‘Naa Ishtam’ is directed by debutant director Prakash Tholeti and is produced by Paruchuri Kiriti. Music for the film was provided by Chakri.

‘Ee Rojullo’ made a by a bunch of newcomers on a very low budget has turned out to be a stunning success at the box office. The film, which opened for Ugadi festival in limited screens, has got an overwhelming positive mandate from the audience. This has resulted in houseful boards across the state and therefore an increasing demand for an increase in the number of shows.

Looking at the number of such requests the makers of the film Good Cinema Group has decided to increase the theater count in the second week by as many as one and hundred and fifty theaters.

‘Ee Rojullo’ starring all newcomers was directed by Maruthi. The film has won him lots of acclaim from the critics as well as audience.

Currently the news doing rounds tinsel town is that South director Venu Ravichandran, also known as Aaskar (Oscar) Ravichandran, is planning on making a movie starring Jackie Chan, Kamal Hassan and Salman Khan.

Apparently, the director has already signed Jackie Chan for his next action movie and will approach Salman Khan and Kamal Hassan to do cameo’s in the movie.

Recently, the director had made his intention of making Jackie's ‘Armour of God’ sequel public and it seems that he has finally started working towards it.

“It will be the mother of all action films and is going to be made on a mammoth budget of R 300 crore. It will be the most expensive Indian film ever mad,” said a source to a daily.

One of the producers of ‘Dookudu’, Anil Sunkara, is turning director. He will be directing a big budget film starring Allari Naresh, ‘Kick’ Shyam and Vaibhav in the lead roles. Sneha Ullal, Kamna Jethmalani, Neelam and Vimala Raman are the heroines in this film. The film will be a bilingual and will be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil.

The film will be made in 3D and already technicians from US have arrived in Hyderabad to work on the pre production of the film. The yet to be titled film will be launched on Ugadi festival in Chennai city. Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and present Governor of Tamil Nadu, K Rosaiah will be the chief guest for the films launch.

Young Tiger NTR is doing all he can to finish off ‘Dammu’ quickly. Reportedly, he has already finished dubbing for the film and is looking forward to the final song’s shoot, which will start from March 26.

On the other hand, music director of the film, MM Keeravani, who is also simultaneously finishing the background score for the film, couldn’t control his excitement looking at the final output and Jr NTR’s performance in it. He said that the film would redefine Young Tiger NTR’s stamina.

With such words coming from the music director and the director of the film being Boyapati Seenu, who gave the biggest hit to Nandamuri Balakrishna with ‘Simha’, expectations on the film among the fans has reached dazzling heights. Let’s hope the film lives upto the expectations and becomes huge success at the box office.

Shooting of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s ‘Daruvu’ is coming to an end. Currently patch work shooting is being done and everything would be wrapped up by March 25.

Tapsee acts as heroine in the film opposite Ravi Teja and it’s her second film with Mass Maharaja after ‘Veera’. ‘Souryam’. Siva directs the film, which is produced by Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna. Music for the film is given by Vijay Antony and audio is expected to release in April. ‘Daruvu’ is being readied for a May release.

‘Daruvu’ is a socio fantasy film with Yamadharmaja angle. Veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana and Prabhu play the role of Yama in the film.

After many speculations over the heroine of ‘Zanjeer’ remake and with names like Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor etc doing the rounds, finally the producers of the film seems to have settled in on Priyanka Chopra for the coveted part.

Priyanka has been reportedly signed in for a whopping amount of Rs. 11 Cr in the ‘Zanjeer’ remake opposite Mega Power Star Ram Charan. Incidentally Priyanka Chopra had already starred in two Amitabh Bachchan remakes ‘Don’ and ‘Agneepath’ successfully and this seems to have tilted the decision in her favor.

‘Zanjeer’ remake directed by Apoorva Lakhia will take off from April 20. Amit Mehra son of Prakash Mehra, who is the director of the original version, produces this film in association with Reliance Entertainment. The movie is expected to have a Republic Day 2013 release.
