After repeating heroine Samantha after ‘Dookudu’ in ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, Superstar Mahesh Babu is going to repeat his ‘Businessman’ heroine Kajal again for his upcoming film in the direction of Sukumar.

Many heroines were considered for the coveted part with Tamannah being the most discussed and almost confirmed one. But with her dates becoming an issue the unit decided to get Kajal instead of her.

This yet untitled film produced by 14 Reels Entertainment banner was launched recently and shooting is expected to begin in April. Rathnavelu is roped in as cinematographer, while Devi Sree Prasad would be providing the music.

Hero Daggubati Rana’s upcoming Telugu film ‘Naa Ishtam’ completed its censor and received U/A from the censor board. The film is now all set for a grand release on March 23 for Ugadi festival.

The film sees Rana pair up with Genelia D’Souza for the first time. Newcomer Prakash Tholeti directs the film, which is said to be an urban love story. Rana plays the character of a selfish guy who cares only about himself. While, Genelia plays a role that puts everyone else in front of her and wishes everyone well. It’s a love story between these two extreme characters says the director.

Music for the film has been given by Chakri and Paruchuri Kiriti produces the film.

Shooting of the climax of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’ is over. A huge action sequence was choreographed by fight masters Ram and Lakshman for this climax and the outcome seems to have pleased everyone.

According to the director Harish Shankar and producer Ganesh Babu only three and half songs are left to be shot now and the shooting of these songs is expected to begin soon. The first song to be shot would be an item number and later the unit will travel to foreign locations to shoot the balance songs.

Music for the film has been composed by Devi Sree Prasad and is expected to release in April first week. Shruthi Hasan acts as heroine in the film. ‘Gabbar Singh’ produced by Bandla Ganesh is slated to release on May 9.

Superstar Mahesh Babu has reportedly given his nod to another film. This new film will be in the direction of Bhaskar and will go onto sets later this year once the director is done with his current project.

And not only that the film will see Superstar Mahesh Babu join hands again with UTV Motion Pictures after ‘Athidi’. Though the last outing was a disaster at the box office, this time they hope that the film becomes a huge success.

Mahesh Babu now has a film currently on sets in the form of ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, another film in the direction of Sukumar is expected to go onto sets from April. And later in the year in August, his new film with director Krish too would be launched. Now with Bhaskar joining the tow that makes it four films in line for the star in the next one year.

Festival time for the fans and for the Telugu film industry in general, with big stars signing multiple films and releasing them in short span of time.

Young Tiger NTR’s new film ‘Baadshah’ in the direction of Srinu Vytla will be launched tomorrow in Hyderabad. The event is expected to be very hush-hush affair with only few prominent personalities attending it. Sources say Nandamuri Balakrishna may attend the event but it’s still not officially confirmed.

Bandla Ganesh produces the film and Kajal acts heroine opposite NTR. Music for the film is being given by SS Thaman. Shooting of the film is expected to start from last week of April or in the first week of May and the first schedule is planned in Seoul.

With director Srinu Vytla on a career high post the blockbuster success of ‘Dookudu’, and a title like ‘Baadshah’ as this film's title, there are sky high expectations on this NTR starrer.

Super Raja Sunil, who is basking in the glory of his latest movie ‘Poolarangadu’, has signed another film. This new film will be produced by Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions banner and directed by Uday Shankar.

The film was launched earlier today in Ramanaidu Studios with Victory Venkatesh and Rana being the chief guests. D Ramanaidu and Suresh Babu too attended the launch ceremony.

A new heroine is expected to act besides Sunil in this film. Currently, Sunil is busy shooting for 'Radha Krishnudu', a remake of Bollywood movie 'Tanu Weds Manu'.

Audio of ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’ was launched in a glitzy affair at Rock Heights in Hyderabad. Victory Venkatesh and hero Gopichand attended the audio launch ceremony as guests.

Venkatesh released the audio CD of the film and handed over the first copy to hero Gopichand. He then praised the director for introducing so many young talents to the industry and wished director Teja all success.

Gopichand and Paruchuri Venkateshwara Rao launched the trailers of the film and wished the unit all the best.

‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’ stars newcomers Prince and Nandita in the lead roles. Music for the film is also given by a newcomer Yashwant Nag. The film is all set to release on March 23.

King Nagarjuna’s new film in the direction of Veerabhadram Chowdary is expected to roll from August this year. By the the actor would be finishing his devotional film ‘Shirdi Sai’.

The film tentatively titled as ‘Bhai’, is said to be a thriller, where King Nagarjuna will play the role of a Don. ML Kumar Chowdary, who made the film ‘Don’ with Nagarjuna, will produce this film.

Director Veerabhadram Chowdary is very happy with this development as he has been wanting to make this film for a long time. In fact the director had narrated the script to Nagarjuna well before the release of ‘Poolarangadu’. But, it was only after the release of ‘Poolarangadu’ that the Nagarjuna agreed to feature in this film.

The director’s last two films ‘Aha Na Pellanta’ and ‘Poolarangadu’ are decent hits at the box office. It'll be interesting to see the director scoring a hat-trick with 'Bhai'.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan is back in the action. Charan has resumed the shooting of his new film ‘Yevadu’, which is being made under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. The actor was recently injured on the sets of ‘Racha’ and the doctors who attended him advised bed rest for three to four weeks. But like Megastar Chiranjeevi said at the audio launch of ‘Racha’, such injuries never worried him, and Ram Charan, who carries his genes has the same nature and one shouldn’t be worried about the delay in shooting.

However heavy dances are strictly ruled out and hence the shooting of ‘Racha’ would be resumed only after he feels fully fit to dance freely. According to sources, it is expected to start in the last week of March.

Hero Siddharth has started shooting for a new Telugu film, under the direction of Nandini Reddy. Samantha is the heroine of the film. This is for the first time that Siddharth and Samantha are featuring in a film together. Currently scenes involving the two are being shot in Hyderabad.

The film, which is yet to be titled, is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. Music for the film is given by SS Thaman.

Nandini Reddy’s debut film ‘Ala Modalaindi’ was a huge success and actor Siddharth’s last film ‘Love Failure’ too was a decent hit. Add to this, Samantha has had no failure in Telugu till now. All these combined, has made the film one of the most awaited movie's of the year.
