The suspense over the heroine opposite Power Star Pawan Kalyan in ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu’ is over. The director of the film Puri Jagannath himself confirmed the news and said that it’s going to be none other than Tamannah. This would then make ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu’ her third film with a Mega family hero after ‘Badrinath’ with Allu Arjun and ‘Racha’ with Ram Charan.

The film will go onto sets from the third week of May and Puri Jagannath seems to be too excited to start the shooting as it will be exactly after 12 years that he would be directing Power Star Pawan Kalyan. He made his debut as director with ‘Badri’ starring Pawan Kalyan in the year 2000.

Currently Pawan Kalyan is busy with the shooting of ‘Gabbar Singh’, while Puri Jagannath is occupied with the shooting of ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’, which has Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in the lead role.

Actor Dhanush’s upcoming movie ‘3’ is gearing up for massive release. The film, courtesy the chartbuster song “Why this Kolaveri Di” has already developed huge expectations among the audience.

Keeping this expectations and demand in mind, the producer of the Telugu dubbed version Natti Kumar is planning to have a huge release for the film. ‘3’ will release in approximately 216 theaters in Nizam territory alone, says the producer, who is planning to release the film in 700 theaters across the state. This is a huge release for a dubbed film and particularly for an actor who has no market in Telugu.

‘3’ stars Dhanush and Shruthi Hasan in the lead roles. The film also has Prabhu and Bhanupriya in important roles. Aishwarya Rajnikanth wife of actor Dhanush directs the film.

Nithya Menon, who has bagged a Nandi award in the best actress category for her debut film ‘Ala Modalaindi’ in Telugu, is looking forward to repeat the same feat in Sandalwood as well. The young actress is going to make her acting debut in a Kannada film, where she will play the role of physically challenged girl.

Nithya Menon is currently acting in Telugu film ‘Okkadiney’, in which she is paired up opposite Nara Rohit. Her latest release ‘Ishq’ has become super hit and the youth in Andhra Pradesh are going crazy on her. The actress is only signing films which give her lot of scope to perform.

‘Eega’, directed by sensational director SS Rajamouli is one of the most anticipated movies arriving this summer. Initially, the audio of the movie was expected to release for Ugadi, but it was postponed due to some technical issues to a later date. Now with everything falling in place, the makers of ‘Eega’ have decided to go ahead with the audio release.

The audio launch ceremony of the film will happen in Brahma Kumari’s Academy in Gachibowli, Hyderabad on March 30. According to source all the heroes and heroines who have acted under the direction of SS Rajamouli are expected to grace the audio launch of the film.

Music for the film has been given by MM Keeravani. And already the music director has come out with an innovative teaser to mark the countdown to the audio launch.

Nani, Samantha and Sudeep are playing lead roles in ‘Eega’. Sai Korrapati produces the film while D Suresh Babu is presenting it.

Despite his films poor run at box-office, Daggubati Rana has something to cheer for. The lanky lad is looking at films not just in Telugu industry but other industries as well. He already made his debut in Bollywood with ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ and is currently doing another film ‘Department’ over there. And the talks are also on for a Tamil film as well.

Now to expand his horizons, Rana has reportedly signed a Hollywood film titled ‘A Momentary Lapse of Reason’, says the buzz. The movie will be directed by Aadithya Bhattacharya, who made his directorial debut with the National Award winning film ‘Raakh’ featuring Aamir Khan. Other cast and crew details of the film will be announced soon.

Sudheer Babu, who made debut with the film ‘SMS’, is going to be seen next in an out and out action movie. The actor is also going to sport a six pack look. He has already started the work out for the film.

Sudheer Babu had revealed that after a lot of thinking and taking feedback from his family members especially from Superstar Krishna he has decided to do an action movie as second outing.

Vamshi Krishna Akella, who has made ‘Raksha’ in the past, is going to direct this high octane action movie tentatively titled as ‘Aggipulla’. Other cast and crew details will be known soon.

Looks like it’s not going to be an easy road ahead for Mega Power Star Ram Charan with his Bollywood debut with ‘Zanjeer’ remake, as a roadblock seems be already headed his way even before the start of the film.

Javed Akhtar, one of the writers of the original ‘Zanjeer’, has apparently not been informed about the remake and he has threatened to go to court if the film goes onto sets, as the rights for the remake has not been taken from him. The producers of the remake are looking into the charges seriously and are expected to give a reply soon says the sources.

‘Zanjeer’ remake will star Mega Power Ram Charan in the lead and will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Amit Mehra son of Prakash Mehra, who directed the original, is producing the film. ‘Zanjeer’ remake will go onto sets from April 13.

‘Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu’ is the upcoming film of director Gautham Vasudev Menon. The film stars Samantha as heroine and Nani as the hero. The film is also simultaneously being made in Tamil and Hindi. All the three versions have Samantha playing the female lead.

For the first time Gautam Menon is working with Maestro Ilayaraja for this movie. With Gautham Menon being known for wonderful musical acumen, his combination with the Maestro is most sought after one among the audience.

Recently Ilayaraja flew to London to record the songs and background score of the film. He is going to use international orchestra for the music of the film. The musical session has already began and progressing at fast pace. ‘Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu’ will have a June release simultaneously in three languages.

Manchu Vishnu, who has been not visible on silver screen for quite some time now, will soon be ready with a new film titled ‘Chikkadu’. It is believed that the film has completed majority of its shooting in Hyderabad silently. Currently the unit is in Tirupathi canning few important scenes there.

‘Chikkadu’ is directed by G.Nageshwara Reddy and Hansika acts as heroine in the film. The movie is produced by hero Manchu Vishnu himself on the banner 24 Frames Factory.

Manchu Vishnu, who has no success post the success of ‘Dhee’, is trying to recreate the magic on screen and has roped in ace writer Kona Venkat for ‘Chikkadu’. Music for the film is provided by Chakri, who had also scored the music for ‘Dhee’ as well. ‘Chikkadu’ is expected to have a late summer release.

After a lot of gap actress Charmy will be seen doing a film of substance. She has reportedly agreed to star in director Chandu’s upcoming film, where she will play the role of a prostitute in the film.

Chandu, who is known for his debut movie ‘10th Class’, tells the scribes that the film is about relationship between a prostitute, a singer and a writer. He said that it’s an interesting script and that it would earn Charmy a lot of name like Sridevi, Tabu, Jayaprada, Jayasudha and more recently Anushka, who played the same roles in the past. The director is planning to take new comers for the part of singer and writer.
