Sensational director SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus and summer attraction ‘Eega’ seems to be taking a lot of time than expected for the post production work to complete. The film which relies heavily on special effects is expected to get postponed further into June due to this delay in the post production work.

SS Rajamouli, who has from the beginning maintained that graphics and visual effects are the USP of the film, doesn’t want to compromise on the quality of special effects and is apparently taking all the care and time in world to come up with the best output.

The trailer of his upcoming movie ‘Eega’ released recently on its audio launch has garnered terrific response from the audience along with many top directors from several film industries across India praising it.

‘Eega’ stars Nani, Samantha and Sudeep in the lead. Sai Korrapati produces the film. MM Keeravani has given the music for the film.

After a long delay, finally ‘Adhinayakudu’, upcoming release of Nandamuri Balakrishna, has completed its censor work. It has been given an A certificate. But there is uncertainity over the release date of the film.

While a segment of film industry believes that the film may arrive on April 13, it almost certain that it is not going to happen. Reason for the delay is said to be the financial crises that the producer is facing. Apparently the distributors, who have bought the movie, have objected to the film being released or cleared from the printing labs until and unless their old dues are cleared by the producer. Even it is being rumored that hero Nandamuri Balakrishna too has objected to the release until he is paid fully.

Well as things stand today, the film would make it to cinemas only on April 19 if the dues are cleared. If they aren’t even April 19 would not be possible.

‘Adhinayakudu’ is directed by Paruchuri Murali and ML Kumar Chowdary produces the film. Lakshmi Rai and Saloni are acting as heroines in the film.

Director SS Rajamouli launched the official first look of the film ‘Endukante Premanta’ with logo. A special programme was organized in Ramanaidu Studios for unveiling of the logo.

‘Endukante Premanta’ stars Energetic Star Ram and Tamannah and is directed by A Karunakaran. The film is produced by Sravanthi Ravikishore. GV Prakash, who has worked with the director previously for films such as ‘Ullasanga Utsahanga’ and ‘Darling’, has given the music for the film. It is expected to be out in stores on April 21.

The film will have a grand release on May 11. The film also has a Tamil version and it will release few weeks later in Tamil according to hero of the film Ram.

Shooting of ‘Zanjeer’ remake which was expected to start on April 20 has been postponed to May 13. According to latest reports the film will start its first schedule from May 13 with some action scenes picturized on Ram Charan.

Although many names are doing the rounds as heroine of the film no one has been confirmed so far said the director of the film Apoorva Lakhia. Only the villain for the film has been confirmed so far and it will be played by Prakash Raj.

‘Zanjeer’ remake is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is produced by Amit Mehra in association with Reliance Entertainment.

Super Raja Sunil’s February release ‘Poolarangadu’ has completed 50 days at the box office. The film which opened with positive talk and reviews on Shivarathri continued a steady run at the box office despite having competition with other successful releases on the way. In the process it has become the second biggest hit of Sunil.

Director Veerabhadram Chowdary, heroine Isha Chawla and hero Sunil and everyone benefited from the film have got busy with various projects now.

Sunil has started shooting for another film titled as ‘Radha Krishnudu’, where he once again pairs up with Isha Chawla. Director Veerabhadram is expected to direct a film starring King Nagarjuna.

Mass Maharaja starrer ‘Daruvu’ which is in post production stage currently, will have its audio launche on April 18. Shooting of the film was completed by March end itself. But as the movie has heavy special effects and will require quite a lot of time to complete post production work the release date has been pushed to May.

‘Daruvu’ directed by ‘Sowryam’ Siva will release on May 4. Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna is producing the film. Tapsee is acting as heroine in the film. Vijay Antony is providing the music for the film.

‘Daruvu’ according to latest reports is said to be inspired by ‘Yamudiki Mogudu’. Their will be Yamadharmaraju in the film and a reincarnation angle as well, says the source.

Tamil actor Prabhu and veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana are playing the roles of junior and senior Yama respectively. Well the premise although inspired does seems to have enough scope for entertainment. Let’s see what the director has come up with 'Daruvu'.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s ‘Racha’ as we all know has created history at the box office on the opening day. The film is continuing its rampage at the box office, even after the opening weekend, with the collections continuing to sour to new heights with each passing day. ‘Racha’ has a rock steady weekend and is already the highest grosser for the same period.

And the speed has not stopped even today, on Tuesday and the film is maintaining the same level of collections all over. The trade now predicts the film to have the legs to cross the first week record by a good margin.

Earlier in the day the producers arranged a special press meet to convey the success of the film to fans and media and soon it is believed that they are going to come up with official numbers. What ever may be the final ending figure of the film now, it has firmly established Mega Power Star Ram Charan as the true heir of Megastar.

It was recently reported that Priyanka Chopra was signed to play the leading lady of 1973 hit movie ‘Zanjeer’, opposite Ram Charan Teja.

But the director of the movie Apoorva Lakhia has denied the news.

“Priyanka Chopra is not yet confirmed. We have not yet decided on that. However, we are starting the film’s shooting from May 13. The scenes of the lead actor will be shot,” said the director.

Southern star Ram Charan Teja, who is making a Bollywood debut with this movie, will be stepping into the big shoes of Amitabh Bachchan.

Recently, it was rumored that Amitabh Bachchan, who played the lead in original ‘Zanjeer’, would be playing a cameo in the movie.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s new film in the direction of Sukumar will begin its regular shooting in Hyderabad from April 23 with shooting of a song. Later the unit will move to Bangkok and shoot another song for five days.

Once this schedule is finished the unit will have small break and then shooting would resume in Goa. The film is produced by ‘Dookudu’ producers Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta on 14 Reels Entertainment banner.

Devi Sree Prasad is giving the music to the film and Ratnavelu is the cinematographer for the film. Kajal is acting as heroine in the movie and this is her second film with Superstar Mahesh Babu after ‘Businessman’. Also like the film ‘Businessman’, this movie will have a Sankranthi release in 2013.

Audio of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film ‘Gabbar Singh’ will release on April 15. The venue has been finalized as Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. All the cast and crew along with entire Mega family are expected to grace the event to make it a memorable one, says sources.

But sources also caution that Megastar Chiranjeevi may give it a miss in the last moment due to his prior political commitments. It is being said that a meeting is being arranged on the same day in Delhi to discuss over the Congress party affairs in the state. If this meeting indeed materializes Megastar Chiranjeevi would be missing the function.

‘Gabbar Singh’ directed by Harish Shankar stars Shruti Hassan as heroine and music is given by Devi Sree Prasad. Adithya Music has bagged the audio rights and the sample songs are expected to be out in the next three days.
