Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘Julayi’ in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas is coming to an end and only picturization of few songs remain. Allu Arjun has now set his eyes on the new film that would go onto sets soon. This new film will be produced by Dil Raju and directed by Vasu Varma. The film has been tentatively titled as ‘Lover’.

Music for the film is provided by SS Thaman and it will be the young music director’s first film with Stylish Star Allu Arjun. A top heroine is expected to be heroine of the film. Regular shooting of ‘Lover’ would begun from June says sources.

Nandamuri Balakrishna after some gap has resumed the shooting of his new film ‘Srimannarayana’. This film, made in the direction of Ravi Chavali was launched in February earlier this year and a schedule has already been completed.

Isha Chawla and Parvati Melton are the heroines in ‘Srimannarayana’. Music for this film is provided by Chakri. Sources say that Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen playing the role of a journalist in the film. Ramesh Puppala, who produced ‘Mirapakai’ in the past with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja as hero, is producing this film. Meanwhile, Balakrishna is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie 'Adhinayakudu' which is expected to hit the screens around 20th of this month.

In an interesting development which has taken everyone by surprise it is believed that Allu Sirish has replaced Nava Yuva Samrat Akkineni Naga Chaitanya as hero in the later’s soon to be on sets film ‘Gauravam’.

According to sources director Radha Mohan has been vexed with the film not being able to go onto sets from a long time. The film was initially expected to go onto sets in January earlier this year but it did not tae off. And with there being no possibility of the film taking off before August, the director it seems has decided to go ahead with the film, with a new hero, and that’s where Allu Sirish has come into picture

‘Gauravam’ is expected to go onto sets soon and Tamannah is rumored to be the heroine in the film. The film will be a bilingual and will be made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.

Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Dammu’ is in post production stage currently and the DI work on the film is going on now. There are tremendous expectations on the film as it sees Young Tiger NTR in his elements after a long gap. With Boyapati Sreenu being the director the expectations have only escalated further.

The makers are trying to make sure that a quality product is released for the fans in time. The last few films of Young Tiger NTR have been rushed in the last minute to make sure it releases on time and hence the post production works on those films suffered. This time the makers did not want the same thing to happen and hence proper care is being taken.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan, who on his birthday expressed his wish to meet Amitabh Bachchan before starting the shooting of ‘Zanjeer’ remake, got his wish fulfilled. Mega Power star Ram Charan, who is Mumbai currently with the unit of ‘Zanjeer’ for the look test of his character in the film, met Amitabh Bachchan yesterday, who was shooting in an adjacent floor in the same studio. Ram Charan sought his blessing for the ‘Zanjeer’ remake and shared this news to his followers on social networking site.

‘Zanjeer’ is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and Priyanka Chopra is acting as heroine in the film opposite Mega Power Star Ram Charan. Prakash Raj, Arjun Rampal and Mahi Gill play other important roles in the film. Amit Mehra produces the film.

Amidst extreme hype Power star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’ audio was launched yesterday in Hyderabad. The day started with Power Star Pawan Kalyan visiting Tirupathi and Vizag. He visited the holy temples in Tirupathi and Vizag and met fans there.

In the evening the unit returned to Hyderabad for the main event at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. Finally after missing many audio functions, that raised lots of speculation of rifts between the brothers, Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the function. He released the audio and later gave a speech to silence all the rumors of rift between him and his brothers.

The cast and crew of ‘Gabbar Singh’ along with many other celebrities attended the function. ‘Gabbar Singh’ produced by Bandla Ganesh is all set to release in the second or third week of May.

Actress Priyanka Chopra has been confirmed as the leading lady of ‘Zanjeer’ remake by Apoorva Lakhia, which marks the debut of Tollywood hero Ram Charan Teja.

If the insiders are to be believed, getting Priyanka Chopra to sign on the dotted line has cost the producer Amit Mehra, son of Prakash Mehra, director and producer of original ‘Zanjeer’, whooping amount of 9 crores.

If this is true, Priyanka Chopra has now replaced Kareena Kapoor as the highest paid actress in the industry. Previously, Kareena Kapoor was in news for charging 8 crores for Madhur Bhandarkar’s movie ‘Heroine’.

Priyanka Chopra though will be essaying the role of Jaya Bachchan in the original; her role is far cry from the original Mala. In the movie, Priyanka Chopra will play a swanky US-returned restaurateur and would not be seen in any songs or item numbers.

The rest of the cast and crew of the movie have also been finalized.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas currently has two films on hand - one is Raghava Lawrence directed ‘Rebel’ and the other tentatively titled ‘Vaaradhi’, directed by Koratala Siva.

Among the two, ‘Rebel’ shooting started a year ago and it’s still not complete. Vexed with the way the film is progressing Prabhas shifted his focus onto ‘Vaaradhi’ and started shooting for the film couple of days ago.

Now the makers of ‘Rebel’ have complained in the producers council about this and have asked the producers council to direct the producers of ‘Vaaradhi’ to stop its shooting until ‘Rebel’ is finished as the budget is increasing with each passing day. ‘Vaaradhi’ producer have obliged to the request and the shooting of ‘Rebel’ has resumed.

‘Rebel’ is currently being shot in Ramoji Film City and it’s a non stop schedule planned till mid May. The film would release in June. ‘Vaaradhi’ would resume its shooting only after ‘Rebel’ gets released.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’ promo songs were released today officially by Adithya Music and they have got thumping response from the audience all over. Almost every song has been liked by the audience - among them, the item number ‘Kevv Kekaa’ has got the unanimous mandate of being the top number in the album.

Music director Devi Sree Prasad thanked the audience for the response and said that the full album would be fantastic. Audio of the film is slated to release on April 15 at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad, after Power Star Pawan Kalyan finishes the trips to Tirupathi and Vizag earlier in the day.

Harish Shankar, the director too has expressed supreme confidence on the final output of the film and said that everyone would be satisfied with ‘Gabbar Singh’. And especially Pawan Kalyan’s performance is remarkable, he says. Shruti Hassan acts as heroine in the film and it’s expected to release on May 18.

Its official! Finally Priyanka Chopra has been signed as heroine after series of negotiations. While names like Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor were doing the rounds earlier, in the last moment Priyanka Chopra has been confirmed in the film.

Major casting of the ‘Zanjeer’ remake has been done. Prakash Raj is playing the baddie in the film while Mahi Gill acts as his mole. Arjun Rampal would reprise the role of Pran from the original.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, ‘Zanjeer’ remake stars Ram Charan in the lead role. Shooting of the film has begun recently. Amit Mehra produces the film in association with Reliance Entertainment.
