Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie ‘Gabbar Singh’s' teaser was launched yesterday and it has already created hysteria online. The teaser has garnered nearly 4 lakh views in just 24 hrs after it went online. Although this is nothing new to fans of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, this time they wish this hysteria continues even after the release of the film, something which has not been happening for the past few films of the star. 

‘Gabbar Singh’ directed by Harish Shankar is produced by Bandla Ganesh. Music for the film has been given by Devi Sri Prasad. Shruthi Haasan is the heroine in this film opposite Pawan Kalyan. 

Shooting of the film is currently going on in Ramoji Film City and the film is expected to release on May 9.

Young Tiger Jr NTR has become the highest paid actor in Telugu cinema courtesy producer KS Ramarao, who has signed the actor for a whopping amount of Rs 12 Cr. 

KS Ramarao, who is currently producing the actor’s upcoming film ‘Dammu’ in the direction of Boyapati Srinu, is so impressed with the actor’s work that he has decided to pay such an exorbitant price for the actor. This new film is expected to go onto sets early next year and will most probably be directed by Harish Shankar.

It must be remembered here that earlier the news of the actor being paid 8 Cr too emerged right before the release of ‘Shakti’ to create hype for the film. Let’s hope this is not another such claim to create hype. 

Everything is set for Mega Power Star Ram Charan to make his grand Bollywood debut. Ram Charan will begin to work on his maiden Bollywood venture, ‘Zanjeer’ remake, from April 20. First schedule of the film is expected to continue for 10 days. 

The casting is also creating lot of buzz lately with the names of actors liked Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj and Deepika Padukone being mentioned as part of the cast of the film. An official confirmation about the real casting is awaited. 

‘Zanjeer’ remake is directed by Apoorva Lakhia of ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ fame. Reliance Entertainment produces the film. 

Before starting films with Superstar Mahesh Babu and Mega Power Star Ram Charan, producer Ashwinidutt is going to make a film with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. Parasuram, who made the dud ‘Anjaneyulu’ with Ravi Teja and later the successful ‘Solo’ with Nara Rohit, will direct the film. Regular shooting of the film would begin from June, when Ravi Teja is done with ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ directed by Puri Jagannath. 

Initially Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja was to do a film titled ‘Power’ with Meher Ramesh after ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ but as the director is busy with Venkatesh’s ‘Shadow’, Ravi Teja has decided to do this new film in its place. ‘Power’ will start after Meher Ramesh is finished with ‘Shadow’.

Nitin and Nithya Menon starrer ‘Ishq’ has completed its censor and has been awarded U/A rating from the board. The film directed by Vikram Kumar is now all set to release on February 24. 

Music for the film scored by Anup Rubens is a huge hit and this has resulted in generating curiosity for the movie. Nitin, who has no worthwhile success in a long time hopes this curiosity turns into box office revenue for him. Apart from the music, the trailers of the film too have come under appreciation, thanks to superlative work done by cinematographer PC Sreeram. With such positives even before the film's release, let’s hope 'Ishq' gives Nitin a career turning success. 

Finally, Super Raja Sunil is happy after the entire struggle he had to go through post the disaster of ‘KSD Appalraju’. His latest release ‘Poolarangadu’ has been declared a hit by the trade circles. And the film is expected to become his second biggest grosser comfortably falling short of ‘Maryada Ramanna’ by few crores, which is his highest grosser so far. 

For presenters RR Movie makers, it’s their second hit in a row this year after ‘Businessman’ which released for Sankranthi. After ‘Aha Na Pellanta’, director Veerabhadram Chowdary gets another hit and in the process has broken the second film jinx associated with directors in Telugu. 

Director Bhaskar, who made a dream debut with ‘Bommarillu' and later gave another success with ‘Parugu’, is in hibernation these days. Last year, the director got a lifetime opportunity to direct Mega Power Star Ram Charan right after ‘Magadheera’ in the form of ‘Orange’. But, 'Orange’s' fate at the box office changed the fate of the director and as a result, Bhaskar is now without work for nearly two years. Although he has narrated scripts to many stars including Karthi and Allu Arjun, none of them gave their green signal to the director due to date issues. 

Finally, a ray of hope seems to have come to him in the form of Energetic Star Ram. Sources say, the actor has liked the script narrated by Bhaskar and it would be his next film to begin once he completes his current film 'Endhukante Premanta'.  This Ram starrer would be produced by BVSN Prasad on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas is working hard to finish ‘Rebel’ as soon as possible. The film was launched for Ugadi last year and has not been completed so far. The unit of ‘Rebel’ is going to begin shooting for the final schedule from February 23 in Shamshabad and planning to wrap it up by March 12. Prabhas, Tamannah, Deeksha Seth, Krishnam Raju etc are going to participate in this final schedule. 

‘Rebel’ is directed by Raghava Lawrence and produced by J Bhagwan and J Pulla Rao. Music of the film is being scored by Lawrence as well. The movie is expected to hit the silver screen in May end.

King Nagarjuna, who is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Shirdi Sai’ in Karnataka, is also keeping a close eye on the latest developments in Telugu films. Nagarjuna being well known to give breaks to young and upcoming directors is reportedly looking at director Veerabhdram with keen interest. 

The director while working for ‘Aha Na Pellanta’, narrated a script to the actor titled ‘Bhai’, but Nagarjuna being busy with other projects did not respond well to it. Now, after the director has got another hit with ‘Poolarangadu’, Nagarjuna has asked Veerabhadram to give him a fresh narration and if he likes it this time, the film will go onto sets immediately once the actor wraps up ‘Shirdi Sai’. 

‘Bhai’ comes with the tag line ‘Entertainment tho Champsthadu’. If everything falls in place, the movie would be produced by D Sivaprasad Reddy on Kamakshi Kala Entertainments banner. 

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film ‘Gabbar Singh’ is taking more time than expected. Hence, the makers of the film have decided to push the release date of the film to May instead of earlier announced date Arpil 27. According to sources, 'Gabbar Singh' is expected to release on May 9. 

The official teaser of the film is slated for release on March 23 amidst huge expectations. That's not all, the makers are also planning to screen the theatrical trailer of the film during the interval of Nitin starrer ‘Ishq’.  For sure, the fans of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will have a festive mood after watching the teaser of the film, says close aides of the unit.
