After some delay, the proposed movie in the combination of hero Gopichand and director Chandrasekhar Yeleti has been launched. This yet to be untitled film is produced by BVSN Prasad in association with Reliance Entertainment.

Speaking at the launch of the film director of the film, Chandrasekhar Yeleti said that the film belongs to an action adventure genre, where a common man goes to the most dangerous parts of the world in search of a treasure. He also expressed happiness for working again with Gopichand after ‘Okkadunnadu’ and promised that this film will also be a different one like the earlier one. Sri is working as music director for the film. Ravinder, art director of ‘Magadheera’, has been roped in for the film.

Producer BVSN Prasad said that the regular shooting of the film would begin from first week of April and entire shooting is planned to be wrapped up by September and have a release immediately. Other cast and crew details of the film will be finalised soon, he added. 

Rocking Star Manchu Manoj’s ‘Mr. Nookayya’ release is postponed again and will release on March 9th.

The film, which was initially set to release on the Maha Shivarathri weekend was postponed by a week to February 24. The reason cited by hero Manchu Manoj was that he don't want ‘Mr. Nookayya’ release to clash with his brother like - Sunil’s ‘Poolarangadu’ at the box office.

A week later the film was postponed again to the first week of March. And now we hear the film is postponed by another week. The film will now release on March 9. The reason for these delays is not known yet.

‘Mr. Nookaya’ stars Manchu Manoj in the lead, while Kriti Kharbanda and Sana Khan star as the female leads. Anil Krishna directs the film, while the music is given by Yuvan Shankar Raja. DS Rao produces the film.

Well, we hope this is the final date and there are no further postponements.

Audio launch of Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming film ‘Dammu’ is slated to happen on March 14, says sources. With the films talkie portions already completed, the remaining patch work and shooting of the songs is expected to be completed by the second week of March. The makers thought it would be a perfect time to have its audio released as this would then give the film’s music enough time to grow in the public and become popular, is what the makers think. 

Recently, the unit has returned from Pollachi after completing a hectic schedule on the lead cast. NTR will be seen in two powerful roles in the film. ‘Dammu’ has Trisha and Karthika as heroines opposite Jr NTR. Music for the film has been provided by MM Keeravani. Alexander Vallabha produces the film, while Boyapati Srinu directs it. 

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is soon going to make his debut in Kollywood with a huge production. This film will be directed by none other than Sri Raghava, who is very well known in Telugu and Tamil for his films like '7/G Brundavan Colony', 'Yuganiki Okkadu', 'Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule', etc. 

The actor and director are going to work together on a big budget bilingual project soon. Shruthi Hasan is expected to play the heroine of the film. Music for the film will be composed by Harris Jayaraj and it is for second time that they both are going to work together on a film. They are currently working together for ‘Irandam Ulagam’.

The film, however, will take some time to get onto the sets as the director and the actor duo are currently busy with their respective commitments. Currently, Allu Arjun is acting in a film under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas and on the other side, Sri Raghava is making a film titled ‘Irandam Ulagam’ with Arya and Anushka in the lead roles.

Audio launch of Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s ‘Rachcha’ has been postponed again. The audio of the film is now expected to release on March 9.

Reason for this sudden postponement of the audio launch is not known. Sources say that the makers wanted to have the audio of the Tamil version of the film too to be launched simultaneously on the same day and venue. So it is for this reason that the audio launch has been delayed even though the Telugu version is ready. In the past, audio launch of ‘Businessman’ too was delayed in the last hour for similar reasons. Music for the film has been provided by Mani Sharma. 

Coming to the shooting of the film, two songs and some patch work of the film involving Tamannah are yet to be completed. These are expected to be completed in the coming days depending on the availability of the dates of Tamannah as she has a very busy schedule.

‘Rachcha’ is slated to release in the last week of March or in the first week of April. 

If the buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood film circles is to be believed, then director Shankar is going to launch the audio of Tamil version of ‘Eega’ titled, ‘Naan Ee’ on March 25 in Tamil. MM Keeravani has given the music for the film. Earlier ‘Maaveeran’, Tamil dubbed version of ‘Magadheera’, audio was launched by Mani Ratnam.

‘Eega’ is directed by sensational director SS Rajamouli. The film stars Hero Nani, Samantha and Sudeep in pivotal roles. ‘Eega’ is coming with lot of hype and is expected to stand out as the biggest hit of the summer. The film is said to contain some never before seen visuals and special effects. 

‘Eega’ is produced by Sai Korrapati while D Suresh Babu presents the film on Suresh Productions banner.

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming film with Daggubati Rana, ‘Department’, is all set to release on May 18. An official announcement regarding the same was made by the co-producers of the film Viacom 18.

‘Department’ is a bi-lingual film starring Daggubati Rana, Sanjay Dutt, Lakshmi Prasanna and Madhu Shalini etc. Amitabh Bachchan too would be seen playing an important role in the film that of a gangster turned politician. After critically acclaimed ‘Dum Maaro Dum’, actor Daggubati Rana is looking forward to secure a major hit in Hindi and Telugu with this movie. ‘Department’ will be simultaneously released in Telugu. 

Shooting of hero Daggubati Rana’s ‘Naa Ishtham’ has finally come to an end. The unit recently went to Malaysia to can the introduction song of Rana in the film under the choreography of Prem Rakshit. With the completion of this song entire shoot has been completed. Music for the film is given by Chakri and it is expected to release in few days time.

Dubbing of the lead actors is also over for the film and simultaneously post production work is also being finished at rapid pace. ‘Naa Ishtham’ is directed by Prakash Toleti and Paruchuri Kiriti of ‘Simha’ fame is the producer. Genelia D’Souza acts as heroine in the film. ‘Naa Ishtham’ is slated to release on March 23. 

Upcoming film of Nandamuri Balakrishna ‘Adhinayakudu’ is reportedly going to release on March 23 for Ugadi festival. The film which was completed some time ago has not been released yet owning to remuneration problem. Sources say that, the producer has failed to provide remuneration on time, the dubbing work on the film has been halted. Now looks like the monetary issues have been solved and the film is all set to have a grand release for Ugadi. 

Music of the film is expected to be launched on March 9. Kalyani Malik has given the music to this film. Paruchuri Murali directs the film.

Lakshmi Rai, Saloni act as heroines in ‘Adhinayakudu’, while ML Kumar Chowdary produces it. Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen playing triple role in the film.
