Finally the long wait for Mega fans is over. Mega Power Star Ram Charan is back with ‘Rachcha’ to create rachcha at the box office. First look of the film has been launched officially today, signaling the starting of publicity campaign. A teaser trailer of the film is also expected to release on February 20.

‘Rachcha’ starring Ram Charan and Tamannah is slated to release in the first week of April with audio launch on February 26. Kurnool has been chosen as the audio launch venue and all arrangements are already on way to make this a very grand event.

The film is directed by Sampath Nandi of ‘Emaindi Eevela’ fame. Music for the film has been composed by ‘Swarabrahma’ Mani Sharma.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja had a very busy day today. His movie ‘Nippu’ hit the theaters today. His upcoming movie ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’  was lauched today and this was followed by regular shoot of his next film ‘Daruvu’.

Ravi Teja’s new ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ had its muhurat today at the film director Puri Jagannadh’s office in Hyderabad. Sensational director VV Vinayak clapped on for the muhurat scene of the film.

Speaking on the occasion director Puri Jagannadh and hero Ravi Teja expressed confidence and said that this would be a full on entertainer and will be for sure a big success in their combination. BVSN Prasad produces this film jointly with Reliance Entertainment banner. Regular shooting of the film would start from March 2 and the film will be ready to release by June said the producer. 

Superstar Mahesh Babu after taking small break has joined the shoot of his multistarrer film ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, produced by Dil Raju. The shooting is taking place in Kutralam village in Tamil Nadu. This is the same village where shooting of ‘Mr. Perfect’ also took place. Superstar Mahesh Babu would be working till February 28. Victory Venkatesh is expected to join the shoot from February 19.

‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ is first true multistarrer in Telugu after more than two decades. The film is directed by Srikanth Addala of ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ fame. Samantha and Anjali act as heroines in this film, which also has versatile actor Prakash Raj and Jayasudha in prominent roles. Mickey J Mayer is giving the music to this film. Dil Raju is planning to release the film as a Dussera gift. 

Daggubati Rana’s upcoming film ‘Naa Ishtham’ has finished its shooting and now the dubbing work too is almost close to finish. The unit has started to promote the film and they launched the first look of the film few days ago. 

The teaser of the movie will be released soon by the makers. The makers though have decided to launch the teaser in Adithya College in Kakinada rather than in Hyderabad. The reason for specifically choosing this college and place is that, the director of the film Prakash Tholeti has worked as assistant director for Sukumar for a long time and Sukumar hails from Kakinada and was also a lecturer at certain point of time in the said college. So as a tribute to his master the director has decided to have a launch in Kakinada. 

‘Naa Ishtham’ starring Rana and Genilia D’souza is slated to release on Ugadi, March 23. Music for the film has been given by Chakri. And the music launch will be held in last week of February.

Hero Naga Chaitanya’s bilingual film ‘Gauravam’ to be directed by Radha Mohan has been temporarily put on hold. According to our sources, while the actor and producer-father Akkineni Nagarjuna have liked the script and want to do the film, they fear the film might not get its deserved audience in the current situation. With Naga Chaitanya delivering back to back duds at the box office a project like this, however good it might be, will be affected at the box office, they feel. 

So Naga Chaitanya has decided to do few mass movies before he takes up this film. A mass script has been prepared for the actor by newcomer Koti, assistant to director SS Rajamouli. This film will reportedly go onto sets before ‘Gauravam’. We have to wait for an official announcement though. Watch this space for more details. 

Siri Media tryst with Mega Movies continues with the distribution house acquiring the AP distribution rights of upcoming Allu Arjun’s film in Trivikram Srinivas direction for a whopping sum of 23 Cr. The distribution house owned by Dasari Narayana Rao had in the past distributed many Mega family movies and most of them have turned out to be no shows at the box office. 

The film, which is yet to be titled, has got good reports among the industry with the output so far being very good. Recently a huge bank robbery scene was shot in specially erected set at Annapurna Studios and those who have seen the rushes seems to be bowled over by the final output. 

Ileana is paired up with Allu Arjun in this film and music for the film has been given by Devi Sri Prasad. Radhakrishna produces this film while DVV Danayya presents it.

The first look teaser of Sai Dharam Tej’s debut movie ‘Rey’ directed by YVS Chowdary would be unveiled with ‘Nippu’. The teaser would be showcased with all the screenings of ‘Nippu’ before the start of the film.

Sai Dharam Tej, nephew of Chiranjeevi, is being introduced with this film. The film was launched more than a year ago but the shooting has not been competed so far. The unit would be traveling to US next month and a major portion of the film would be shot there, which would take the film to its completion. 

Subrah Ayyappa and Shradha Das acts as heroines in this film. Music for the film is given by Chakri. The film is expected to be a late summer release. 

With just ten days to go for the audio launch of ‘Rachcha’, the makers are leaving no stones unturned to make the audio function a huge success. Also this is the first film in long time that’s going to have an audio launched outside Hyderabad. So, many things are being put in order for smooth conduct of the function. Also some special programmes are being planned for the entertainment of the audience, which sources say are going to be breathtaking.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and director Shankar are rumored to be the guests of the function, which will happen in Kurnool town on February 26.

‘Rachcha’ directed by Sampath Nandi has Tamannah as heroine opposite Ram Charan. Manisharma has given the music to the film and already a song has been released which has gained immense popularity among the fans. 

Hero Nitin starrer ‘Ishq’ is finally getting ready for release. February 24 has been locked in as the release date for the film, which has been in the making for over a year. Many dates were thrown out from summer last year as release dates but none of them turned out to be true.

Nitin pairs up for the first time with Nithya Menon in the film. Vikram Kumar of ‘13b’ fame directs the film, while cinematography is provided by the award wining cinematographer PC Sreeram. ‘Ishq’ is produced on Shrestha Movies banner. Music for the film is composed by Anup Rubens and was released earlier this month by Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. Music has been declared a huge success already. Let’s hope the film gets a similar reception. 

No, the actor is not doing any new film in Telugu. The actors old Tamil film is being dubbed into Telugu with ‘Malligadu’ as title. Karthi’s debut film ‘Paruthiveeran’ directed by Ameer is now being dubbed into Telugu to cash in on the actors craze in Telugu. ‘Malligadu’ stars Priyamani as heroine opposite Karthi. And it was for this film that she got National Award for Best Actress.

Karthi is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Sakuni’, which is slated to release in April later this year. Bellamkonda Suresh has bagged the theatrical rights of this movie for Rs 9 crore for entire Andhra Pradesh. Karthi's films 'Yuganiki Okkadu', 'Awara' and 'Naa Peru Siva' became big hits in Telugu.
