Comedian turned hero Sunil has been finalised as hero in a film which is touted to be the sequel to Rajendra Prasad’s super hit film 'Ladies Tailor'. The film is tentatively titled 'Fashion Designer s/o Ladies Tailor'.

Though Allari Naresh was approached for the role, Sunil has been finalised to play the protagonist of the film. Archana of 'Nenu' fame is playing the female lead. Vamsy who directed 'Ladies Tailor' will wield the megaphone again in this sequel, while maestro Ilayaraja scores the music.

Right now, the script work of the film is going on at fast pace and the movie will hit the floors very soon. The rest of the details are awaited.

Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film 'Bezawada' produced by Ram Gopal Varma shooting is progressing at Switzerland where the film unit is canning songs on the lead pair Naga Chaitanya and Amala Paul.

The buzz is that the film’s release might be postponed to November 1^st week due to the unexpected delay in post-production work. Earlier, the film is scheduled for October 21 release. Though, this is not authorised information, let’s wait for an official confirmation from the makers.

Ram Gopal Varma’s assistant Vivek Krishna is debuting as director with this film. The story of the film is based on the gang wars happened in Vijayawada in late 80s and early 90s.

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s recent release 'Dookudu' is creating waves at box-office. The film reportedly collected Rs 9.20 crore net in the first day. The film’s collections are super strong and the movie is expected to break the existing records in Godavari districts, Vishakapatnam, Ananthpur and Guntur districts.

On this occasion, the producers of the film Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta have planned for a success meet on September 30 at Vijayawada. The event will be celebrated in grand manner and Super Star Mahesh will grace the event too.

Mahesh is currently busy shooting for his next film The Business Man under the directed of Puri Jagannadh in Mumbai. He will fly down to Vijayawada directly from Mumbai on 30^th.

Samantha played the love interest of Mahesh in 'Dookudu' while Srinu Vaitla directed the film under 14 Reels Entertainment banner.

'O My Friend' featuring Siddharth and Shruti Hassan in lead roles recently completed it's shooting and currently the post-production works are progressing at brisk pace. Dil Raju is producing the movie under Sri Venkateswara Films banner. Venu Sri Ram is debuting as director with this film.

In a recent press meet, Dil Raju stated that the movie came out very well and the promo released on Friendship Day got huge response from the audience. The audio of the film will be launched in October and the film is slated for release in November.

Shruti Hassan is donning the role of a strong minded female in this movie. The film is based on the confusions involved in love and friendship. This is Siddharth’s second movie with Dil Raju after super hit film 'Bommarillu'.

Rahul Raj is scoring music while Vijay K Chakravarthi is the cinematographer.

The shooting of Young Rebel Star Prabhas’s upcoming film 'Rebel' is going on in Hyderabad, where some important scenes are being shot under Prabhas and others. Rebel is being directed by Raghava Lawrence on Sri Balaji Cine Chitra banner. BVSN Prasad is the producer.

Tamanna and Deeksha Seth are playing female leads opposite Prabhas in this mass entertainer. The unit will leave to Bangkok for next schedule to can songs on the Prabhas and heroines. Prabhas is sporting different look in this movie.

Late Rami Reddy’s last movie titled 'Guruvaaram' based on the life story of Sai Baba recently completed the songs shoot and the makers are planning to release the movie in November. Rami Reddy is playing the role of Sai Baba. Popular comedian Uttej is acting as the son-in-law of Baba and the songs canned on Uttej came out well, says the producer.

Hero Suman is acting as Sri Hara Sastry. The song picturised on Suman sung by Keeravani is the highlight of the film. Telangana Shakuntala is playing the role of an ardent devotee of Sai Baba.

Annapurna, JV Ramana Murthy, Babu Mohan, Jenny,VV, etc are playing key roles in the movie. The film is produced and directed by music director Vighna Vinayak. Ramesh handles the lens while dialogues are written by Sai Sri Harsha, Bompem Jayasurya, Anuradha, Shasibala, and Ravi Shankar.

Manchu Manoj upcoming film Mr Nokia recently completed its shooting schedule in Ramoji Film City. The unit shot a chasing episode on lead actor Manoj. With this, the film’s shooting is completed except for three songs and patch work. The unit is planning to picturize those songs in Hyderabad very soon.

The movie is coming up with a punch line No Caption….Only Action. Mr Nokia is directed by Anil on Sailendra Movies banner. The film is touted to be a commercial entertainer with lots of action episodes. Krithi Kharbanda of Teen Maar fame and Sana Khan are acting as female leads.

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s action and family entertainer Dookudu released yesterday. The film opened to packed houses all over and created a new record among Mahesh’s films. According to the producers the film collected Rs 9 crore on the first day itself. Dookudu became the first ever film to collect Rs 2 crore on the first day in Nizam territory. Even in US the film became a money spinner to the exhibitors and would recover the money in the first week itself.

The film’s second day collections are also good. The film received positive talk and the initial hype also helped the film to pull the crowds to theaters. The film’s collections are expected to be same tomorrow as well on account of Sunday.

The only thing that is haunting the producers is the Telangana bandh. We have to wait and see how the film stands out at the box-office from Monday onwards.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s latest film tentatively titled Power shooting is almost complete. The makers are planning to release the film in December and the audio will be released in November. Shobu Yarlagadda and Neelima Thirumalasetty are jointly producing the film on Sanghamitra Arts and Arka Media Works banner.

The makers planned for a photo shoot on Today and Tomorrow on Pawan Kalyan and heroines Sara Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania. These stills will be released on Dussera as first look posters.

Nani who is busy in both Telugu and Tamil has signed another big film under the direction of Gautham Menon. The film is a tri-lingual in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Nani will feature as hero in the film’s Telugu version. Earlier, hero Ram is roped in as the lead but citing some silly reasons Ram walked out of the project.

Recently, Nani acted in a film titled Veppam produced by Gautham Menon. The film is dubbed in Telugu as Sega which went on to become a dud at box-office. Though the film didn’t fare well Nani still shares a good rappot with director Gautham which eventually made him to act in this movie as a replacement to Ram.

Nani is currently busy shooting for a film titled Eega directed by ace director Rajamouli. Looks like the Ala Modalaindhi star has become busy now-a-days as big directors are running after him for his call sheets.
