Versatile actor Prakash Raj is wielding megaphone for a movie titled 'Dhoni'. The movie will be a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu. The movie shooting will commence in Hyderabad and continue till the end of October. Ace director Puri Jagannadh’s son Aakash is playing the title role.

The movie is based on a kid who aspires to become a cricketer like his idol Dhoni. The movie is slated for December release. Ilaiyaraaja is scoring music for this film. After many years, Maestro Ilaiyaraaja has done live recording for this movie’s songs.

RR Movie Makers are producing the movie Telugu while Prakash Raj is the producer of Tamil version. Mugdha Gose is making her debut in South with this film.

'Renigunta' featuring Johnny, Sanusha and Nishanth as lead actors is releasing in Telugu soon. The film recently completed the dubbing and songs recording works and the makers are planning for a audio release function soon. Suresh Kondeti who earlier released Premisthe, Shopping Mall and Nanna is releasing this film on SK Pictures banner.

Paneer Selvam is directing the film while Ganesh Raghavendra scored music. Anthony is the editor and Shakti is the camera man. The film is a revenge drama and will suit the taste of Telugu audience as well.

Our sources say, the censor board members have already watched the film and expressed their happiness on the film’s output. The performance of Mahesh steals the show. Though the scenes before and after the interval are little boring the film has all the elements to become a hit. The scenes between Mahesh and Prakash Raj filmed are awesome. The dialogues are ok and the scenes involving the lead pair came out really well. Though, Brahmanandam fails to deliver his trademark comedy another comedian MS Narayana will evoke laughs out of audience.
