Balakrishna’s Srimannarayana finishes 50% of shooting.

Balakrishna starer ‘Srimannarayana’ under the direction of Ravi Chavali that was launched on February 6th has finished 50% of shooting in just 3 months. It is still not clear if Balayya is playing the role of lecturer or a role as the honest journalist. The climax scenes are being captured currently at an Aluminum factory in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. After this schedule, the unit will fly to Malaysia for filming songs, few crucial scenes and action episodes.

The movie is produced by Ramesh Puppala under the banner of Yellow Flowers. The Dialogues were written by Ghatikachalam and camera handled by T. Surender Reddy. Parvati Melton and Isha chawla are the female leads in the movie.

The fate of Balayya’s much hyped ‘Adhinayakudu’ is not known yet and it seems Balayya has moved on to his next project already.

Durga Arts aims high, confirms Mahesh-SS. Rajamouli, Charan-Boyapati combinations

Fans will exchange anything in their life to see a Mahesh under the direction of S.S. Rajamouli. When asked possibility of making movie with Superstar Mahesh, the supreme director Rajamouli reacted saying that Mahesh has not taken any decision on working under his direction.

K.L Narayana and S. Gopal Reddy disclosed much awaited sensational news that they are taking the combination of Mahesh-Rajamouli and Charan-Boyapati to the sets. Both the movies are planned to be released next year.

Sobhan Babu’s Diamond Jubliee Celebrations on June 30

Ever green actor, late Sobhan Babu’s Diamond Jubliee festival celebrations will commence 30th June at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad and will facilitate 75 actors/actresses. The State Committee for Sobhan Babu fans informed the press that the festival is held under the blessings of Former Union Cabinet Minister and veteran director Dr. Dasari Narayana Rao.

All the legends of film industry will be attending this festival. The festivals will be held under the supervision of Suresh Kondeti, the owner of “Santosham” magazine. The ‘Sobhan Babu Seva Samithi’ has invited all the actors/actresses who have worked with late Sobhan Babu. The festival is planned with songs, dances and scenes from Sobhan Babu movies. National and International fans are expected to participate in this festival.

Yuvasamrat Nag will rock and roll against the camera yet again under the banner of Kamakshi Movies.

“Keeping Nag’s image in mind, Dasaradh has penned down a splendid Family Entertainer. Regular shooting of movie will commence from 15th June and 40 days of shooting is planned in USA. The movie release will be in December 2012 or January 2013” said the producer Mr. D. Siva Prasad.

Gabbar Singh Censor update

‘Gabbar Singh’ censor that was supposed to be finished by 4th/5th of May was postponed to 7th of May. The Censor is postponed again to 8th of May. Though the movie unit said that the movie was ready for Censor on any day from 4th May, nothing has been materialized so far. The producer and distributors are still confident about releasing the movie on 11th May. The fate of the release date is not yet finalized officially.

Sources say that ‘Gabbar Singh’ is most likely to release on 12th May. Fans initially requested Bandla Ganesh to release the movie on 12th May, to which the producer Bandla Ganesh refused. Fans are worried as there is no word either from producer or from hero. Unhappy fans are blaming this delay on Producer Bandla Ganesh. Sruthi Hassan, who believed to be part of aggressive promotion of the movie, is no where seen after the censor of ‘Gabbar Singh’ was postponed.

Julayi finishes Dubai schedule

Stylish Star Allu Arjun movie ‘Julayi's’ unit has packed up from Dubai after successfully finishing electrifying scenes and songs. The movie has finished its talkie part shooting schedule in Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangkok. With 4 songs to be captured , the movie is scheduled to release in June.

After a long gap after his movie ‘Khaleja’, one of the most acclaimed directors in industry Trivikram is directing the movie. He is also overseeing the fights, dances and music.

As the movie unit is back to India, the producer Radha Krishna is planning to release the audio this month. Sources say that Devi’s has composed tunes better than ever. “ With Trivikram, Bunny and Radha Krishna on board, my life as music director is easy” commented Devi.

Gabbar Singh set to release in 300 theaters in Nizam

Gabbar Singh‘s Censor is confirmed on 7th May and all is set for Mega grand release on 11th May.

300 theaters in Nizam are blocked to screen the movie. ‘Gabbar Singh’ will release in around 2000 theaters across the world. Bluesky Cinema has grabbed the overseas rights and plans are in place to screen a premium just before the release time in India. The film will also play in cinemas up and down the country at the same time.

Pawan Kalyan and Shruthi Hassan have returned from Europe after shooting of few songs. It is expected that they will be participating in promoting the movie aggressively across Andhra Pradesh.

Surprisingly, for a remake it has 2 experts Satish Vegesna and Ramesh Reddy working on the screenplay. ‘Gabbar Singh’ is made with budget of 30 Crores and has running time of 135 minutes which is 2 hours 15 minutes.

BlueSky Cinemas bags Daruvu overseas rights.

Bluesky Cinema grabs overseas rights for Daruvu.

Though there is no official statement on their website, few reports mentioned that Bluesky cinema bagged theatrical, DVD and Streaming rights of 'Daruvu' in all overseas markets except Dubai. Bluesky Cinemas has successfully screened 'Arya2', 'Maghadeera', 'Jayeebhava', 'Dhoni', 'Evaraina Epudaina', 'Sashirekha Parinayam' and 'Swagatham' Overseas.

Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s 'Daruvu' comes after ‘Nippu’, an all time dud at box office in his career. ‘Daruvu’ is directed by Koratla Shiva, cinematography is being handled by Vetrivel, dialogues penned by Ramesh Gopi and Anil Ravipudi, editing by Gautham Raju and music by ‘Vijay Anthony’.

The casting has almost every comedian in Tollywood. Veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana, who was famous for his portrayal of Yama Dharmaraju in several films, was cast for the that role.

Ravi Teja and Tapsee were paired up previously in ‘Veera’ an extreme disaster at box office and success still awaits the combination.
In February 2012, the shooting of ‘Daruvu’ was disrupted by activists of Telangana in Osmania University. 'Daruvu', which was planned to release on 4th May was postponed and hits the theaters on 18th May.

Finally the news that brings all Akkineni fans to their feet. Walt Disney along with Annapurna Studios brings the 3 generations of Akkineni’s family together in ‘Thrayam’. Director Vikram Kumar has disclosed to a newspaper today that a story has been finalized and they are roping in the actors and technicians for the film. The legendary veteran actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao will play the role of Grandfather and Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna as Father to Naga Chaithanya.
