Director Srinu Vaitla, who has tasted success with Super Star Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dookudu’, is planning a sequel of the movie. The movie titled ‘Dookudu 2’ is likely to go onto the floors once both Mahesh Babu and Srinu Vaitla wrap up their currents projects.

‘Dookudu’ has turned out to be the second biggest grosser of Tollywood and taking advantage of the craze the movie has garnered, the maverick director is planning for a sequel to it. Sources say that Srinu Vaitla has already started penning the story for this film with his team of writers Gopimohan and Kona Venkat. Thaman is expected to score music for ‘Dookudu 2’ as well.  Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanra are set to produce this movie. An official announcement will be made shortly.

Mass Raja Allari Naresh’s new film titled ‘Sudigadu’, which is the remake of ‘Thamizh Padam’, is in the last stages of post production. The shooting of the film is almost complete and the makers are planning to release the movie in June. Chandrasekhar Reddy is producing ‘Sudigadu’ on Arundathi films banner, while Bheemaneni Sreenivasa Rao directs it.

Monal Gajjar is playing the heroine of the film. Given his reputation for comedy entertainers, there are huge expectations on this film which has lot of hilarious spoofs from several Telugu films in it.

The long wait is over! Power Star Pawan Kalyan, who is fondly called as King of Andhra by his fans, has shown his box office stamina with his new release ‘Gabbar Singh’. The film which was released on May 11 worldwide with huge expectations has turned out to be a money spinner and attained blockbuster status.

The collections of the movie are phenomenal and once again Pawan Kalyan has shown his image thus becoming producer’s favourite hero. According to reports, the movie has raked in Rs 21 crores collections for just two days worldwide which is an all time record in Tollywood. The overseas distributors are extremely happy with the success and have added additional shows to sustain the overflow.

If the same flow in collections continues for a week, then ‘Gabbar Singh’ is set to become the second biggest grosser of Tollywood thus beating ‘Dookudu’.

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s new movie under the direction of commercial director Boyapati Sreenu has been shelved. The reason for this sudden development is the fate of ‘Dammu’, says industry sources. ‘Dammu’, which features NTR, Trisha and Karthika Nair, has hit the screens amid huge expectations on April 27 but bombed at box office.

Apparently, Mahesh, who is very choosy in selecting the directors, has decided to opt out of this project and hence said NO to Boyapati, says the buzz. Meanwhile, Boyapati is leaving no stone unturned and currently he is penning a powerful script for Mega Power Star Ram Charan. Let’s hope Ram Charan gives Boyapati a chance to direct him in his new movie.

Hero Nani and Samantha starer 'Eega' is slated to release on May 30. The re-recording formalities of the film are going on at Prasad Labs at rapid pace.

'Eega' is directed by Rajamouli and produced by Sai Korrapati. Suresh Babu is presenting the movie which is set to release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Kannada hero Sudeep is playing the antagonist of 'Eega', while popular comedian Santhanam plays a pivotal role. MM Keeravani has provided the music.

Hero Ram’s upcoming romcom ‘Endukante Premanta’ is likely to release on June 1, says the buzz. The film feature Tamanna in the lead role opposite Ram. Directed by A Karunakaran, the movie has popular writer Kona Venkat playing the negative role. GV Prakash Kumar’s music was received well by the music lovers.

Hero Ram will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow and he says that the movie has shaped up well with good production values. Sravanti Ravi Kishore is planning to release the movie in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously with record number of prints.

Ram’s last movie ‘Kandireega’ had become super hit at box office hit and there are huge expectations on ‘Endukante Premanta’ among his fans.

Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Dammu’ will release as ‘Singamagan’ in Tamil on 11th May. Though Jr. NTR is less popular in Tamil, the producers, who made bad revenues in Telugu, are pinning hopes on popularity of Trisha and Karthika for success of the movie in Tamil.

The movie is promoted very well to attract different sections of audience. With this attempt Jr. NTR hopes to estimate and expand his next releases in Tamil. Currently, he is foucssing on the script of his new movie ‘Badshah’ under the direction of Srinu Vaitla.

The Censor of Gabbar Singh is finished it and obtained U/A Certificate. The movie will hit the theaters on 11th May worldwide.

“I do not for see any reason to delay the movie. ” informed the producer Bandla Ganesh and further added that “Dil Se song teaser has been released for fans today.” 

The Censor report is carrying positive news and nothing on earth can stop the movie from becoming a block buster. Power Star fans are expecting the movie to cross ‘Magadeera’s' gross, which is likely to happen.

Actor Allari Naresh made a stint as singer in his upcoming movie ‘Sudigadu’. The song was released over internet and has gone viral.
‘Sudigadu’ directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao, is the remake of Tamil hit ‘Tamiz Padam’ and is a critical satire on present day cinema. Monal Gujjar is playing the female lead opposite Allari Naresh in this movie.
