Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who underwent a brain surgery to remove a clot in his brain at Mumbai’s Hinduja hospital, was discharged today.
“He is fine now but he will be taking rest at least for a month now. Doctors have asked him to take rest and complete the medication,” said a source close to actor to NDTV.
The actor suffered a head injury during the shooting for his movie ‘Bang Bang’. The actor hit his head the wrong way and he took pain killers to subside the immediate pain.
But Hrithik Roshan started experiencing intense headaches after a month from the injury and his family decided to get a MRI done.
He was diagnosed with chronic subdural hematoma and was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital on July 7 evening, and next day he was operated upon.
This condition is said to be very common among athletes and boxers, who sustain injuries to their heads.
‘Bang Bang’, an official remake of ‘Knight and Day’, is directed by Siddharth Anand. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif.
The shoot of the third schedule of the movie has been moved forward as Hrithik Roshan has been advised to take complete bed rest for a month.
