The first look poster of the eagerly anticipated movie Ram Leela was released recently.

Ranveer Singh, who plays the male lead in the movie, is happy with the poster and said that the poster manages to capture the film's essence very well.

“I think it has given the right signals about what kind of zone the film is in - dramatic, romantic, epic, massy, love story. It looks grand,” said Ranveer Singh to IANS during the Stardust Awards.

The actor is also glad with the response the poster has received on Twitter.

“It (the poster) has been designed to give you a clue about what this film might be. If everybody understands that from the first look, then I think we have hit the nail on the head. I hope we can continue to do with more of our publicity material," he said.

The next schedule of the movie began this Sunday in Udaipur and Ranveer Singh is glad to work with Deepika Padukone again.

“It has been a wonderful experience working with Deepika. The shoot I think should wrap up a couple of months before November. It is going very well,” he concluded.

‘Ram Leela’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is touted to the Indian version of Romeo and Juliet. The director had previously stated that the movie was a romantic masala movie.

The movie stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Richa Chaddha.

The movie will release on November 29.
