Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s relationship has always made headlines, be it their budding romance on sets of ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ or Deepika Padukone getting a ‘RK’ tattoo on back of her neck or their high profiled break-up.
Ever since it was announced that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will be acting together in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, their relationship has once again become one of most talked about topics.
While media has been rife with the reports that this will be a fresh start to their relationship as friends and colleagues and put their fight behind, Deepika Padukone denied any fight with Ranbir in first place.
“I wouldn't even call it as a fresh beginning. This so called fight and awkwardness was in the mind of people and media and not me or Ranbir. Everyone close to us knew that right from the time when we had broken up, we had never disconnected. In fact we never even had a fight as well as it was a mutual separation,” said the actress to Glam sham in an interview.
The actress said that even after their breakup they have remained very good friends.
“We have been in constant touch with each other over the last 3-4 years. We may not speak on a daily basis but we know for sure which part of the world we are. Also, we know that we would be there for each other, come what may,” she concluded.
Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ produced by Karan Johar, also stars Kalki Koechlin, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Indian-German model Evelyn Sharma.
The movie that was earlier scheduled to release on March 29 2013 has now been postponed and will release on May 31.
