Salman Khan’s next movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is all set to release on August 15 this year. But shooting for the movie was anything but cake walk to the star, who suffered with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a facial nerve disorder and had to undergo surgery to get rid of the excruciating pain.
The actor, who underwent surgery last year to correct his nervous disorder, took a few days rest before he returned to the shooting of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, where the cold only increased his pain. But the actor said that as an actor it was his job to work through the pain.
“In spite of all the nerve problems and the aneurism and the traveling and cold and the pain and all that stuff, eventually it's what you show on screen. You can't put subtitles saying - 'Here the actor was unwell' or 'here was a backache' or 'here the cold' led to pain or 'a headache happened'! You can't say all that,” said Salman Khan to IANS.
“You have to give a shot and forget about all that for those 20 to 30 seconds. It is easy to put aside everything if you are interested in the film you are doing,” he added.
Over the years the actor has been given various nicknames and he likes that his fans name him after his movies.
“I have a lot of names - Bodyguard, Dabangg, Wanted, Most Wanted, Veer and now Tiger. I'll get some other name in the next film,” he said.
‘Ek Tha Tiger’ directed by Kabir Khan, also stars Katrina Kaif.
