The trailer of Karisma Kapoor’s eagerly awaited 3D movie ‘Dangerous Ishq’ has finally been released.

In the movie Karisma Kapoor plays the role of Sanjana, a supermodel, who is searching for her husband, played by Rajniesh Duggal, who has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. She plays a character that will go any length to find her husband. The movie is a re-incarnation drama.

Directed by Vikram Bhatt the movie also stars Jimmy Shergill, Divya Dutta, Sameer Kochar, Gracy Singh and Ruslaan Mumtaz.

“The strength of Dangerous Ishq is its mind blowing idea. The part that she gets to play in the film is a dream role for any actor. Karisma too understood that when Dangerous Ishq was narrated to her. She comes with enough experience to gauge a film's strength at the script level itself. Once she agreed in principle, we developed the film a little bit more and were ready to roll,” said director Vikram Bhatt to a daily.

The director confessed that he was apprehensive about casting Karisma Kapoor in the role.

“We were a little doubtful if she would do it but then the consensus was that she would be fabulous in doing a film like Dangerous Ishq. Once we met, everything fell in place,” he said.

The movie is all set to be released on May 11, 2012.
