Over the pool of names that have cropped up as would be names of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s daughter Beti-B, ‘Aaradhya Bachchan’ is the newest edition.

According to media reports, the Bachchan family registered the name Aaradhya with the Bombay Municipal Corporation, two days ago.

The name Aaradhya means 'one who is worth worshipping', in Sanskrit. 

This isn’t the first time though that a name has popped up to be Beti-B’s name. Previously, it was rumored that Beti-B would be named Abhilasha.

“Beti B to be named Abhilasha? That's a stroke of genius. Well done, parents. Abhi and Ash. Truly inspired, if true,” tweeted celebrity columnist and author Shobhaa De.

But Grandfather Amitabh Bachchan quickly responded and denied the rumors.

Actually, the family has already decided on a name but they aren’t willing to make the name public just yet.

“I mean, we've got a name, and I'll announce it very soon, but in terms of releasing a photograph you know I... if people see her in everyday life that's fine by me but I just think releasing the photograph is a very pompous thing to do,” said Abhishek Bachchan few days ago.

Let’s see if the media has got the name right this time around at least.
