Before working on the eagerly anticipated movie ‘Rana’, Superstar Rajinikanth will work onIndia’s first hi-tech 3D movie ‘Kochadaiyaan’.

This will be the first movie inIndiato use performance capturing technology that was previously used in movies like ‘Avatar’ by James Cameron and The Adventures of Tin Tin by Steven Spielberg.

The movie will be directed by Rajini's daughter Soundarya Ashwin, who has earlier made animated ‘Sultan’ with her father.

KS Ravikumar, who is the director of ‘Rana’, has written the story, screenplay, dialogue for the movie. He will also be the supervising director of the film.

The movie is being produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment Limited.

The makers are planning to release this movie in August 2012.

Rajinikanth will be working in the movie ‘Rana’ after ‘Kochadaiyaan’ release.
