Anushka, who is currently busy with Nagarjuna’s socio-fantasy film ‘Damarukam’, has been roped in as one of the female leads in the multi-starrer ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. When contacted, Anushka’s manager told that producer Dil Raju has approached the actress and offered her the role of Venkatesh’s love interest in the film.

Earlier, there are reports that Bhumika has been roped in as female lead. The makers even approached Nayantara, Trisha for this role but none of the actress were interested to feature as Mahesh Babu’s sister-in-law, says our source. Venkatesh and Anushka earlier acted in 'Chintakayala Ravi', which went on to become an average grosser at box-office. Samantha plays the other heroine opposite Mahesh Babu.

The regular shooting of the film will commence from December 5. The scenes on Venkatesh will be filmed first as Mahesh will join the sets on January 25. If everything goes as expected, we will get an official announcement soon. Stay tuned for more information.
