The makers of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s new film ‘Gabbar Singh’ are in the second thought about replacing the female lead of the film. According to our reliable sources, the makers have approached Richa Gangopadhyay for the heroine role. Recently, she acted in the Tamil version of ‘Dabangg’ titled ‘Osthi’ as leading lady opposite Simbu. The movie is due for release on November 23.

Our sources claim that it is due to the poor track record of Shruti Hassan that has made the makers to think twice on continuing her as female lead. Shruti Hassan has tried her luck in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. She fails to secure a hit till date. Her latest film ‘Oh My Friend’ opposite Siddharth is heading towards a disaster. ‘Gabbar Singh’ has completed its first schedule in Hyderabad and the unit is set to leave Pollachi for a 40-day long schedule.
