Movie Artists Association (MAA) is likely to crack whip on Genelia D’Souza, one of the top heroines of Tollywood today. MAA has passed a resolution few days ago that it’s mandatory for every actor/actress in Tollywood to take membership in Movie Artists Association. Genelia ignored those words and didn’t turn up to take the membership. She has to pay Rs 1 lakh for the lifetime membership in MAA.

"Genelia has been working in Tollywood from 8 years and it’s so pathetic that the actress didn’t respond to the notice sent by MAA", says a popular producer.

The actress career is full of controversies. In her last film ‘Orange’ opposite Ram Charan, she demanded extra money from producer Naga Babu.

MAA has also sent a notice to all the producers of Tollywood stating not to extend any kind of support to the actress. She is doing only one film in Telugu titled ‘Naa Ishtam’ opposite Rana Daggubati. She has become a busy actress in Bollywood these days.

"We have sent notices again to the actress and if she fails to respond this time, a ban on her is likely to be imposed", says Murali Mohan from MAA.
