Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming racy mass entertainer 'Gabbar Singh' has completed its first schedule and the second schedule of the film will commence from October 10. This will be a 50 day long schedule and the makers are planning to complete the film in this schedule itself and release it for Pongal.

Gabbar Singh is the remake of Bollywood blockbuster 'Dabangg' starring Salman Khan and Sonkashi Sinha. The director of the film has done some script changes to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audience. It is heard that Pawan Kalyan’s characterisation, histrionics will be different from Salman Khan and enthrall the audience. Reports are also there that the director is making this movie with utmost care and is aiming to score a big hit with this ‘Power’-packed film.

Ganesh Babu is producing this film under his banner Parameswara Arts. Harish Shankar of 'Mirapakai' fame is the director. Shruti Hassan is playing leading lady in this film, while Devi Sri Prasad is composing music.
