Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja is arriving this pongal in the form of 'Nippu'. The film is directed by Gunasekhar who is known for erecting huge sets in his films. Popular director and Okkamagadu fame YVS Chowdary is producing the movie under Bommarillu banner.

The shooting of the film is going on at fast pace and the makers are planning to release the movie on January 6. Ravi Teja’s last film 'Mirapakai' was also released during Pongal this year. Deeksha Seth, who sizzled with Ravi Teja in Mirapakai, is paired opposite him in this racy mass entertainer. Sarvesh Murari is the cinematographer, while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring music for this Ravi Teja starrer.

Director Gunasekhar is desperate to score a hit with this film. He earlier gave a statement that there won’t be any sets in this film.
