Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s new film 'Gabbar Singh' under the direction of Harish Shankar commenced its regular shoot on Friday at Hyderabad. The first schedule of the film will be shot on Abhimanyu Singh who plays antagonist of the film along with other casting.

Pawan Kalyan will join the unit for the second schedule as right now he is busy with Vishnuvardhan’s film. The film is the remake of bollywood super hit Dabangg and Pawan plays the role of a powerful police officer. This is his second movie as cop while the first film is 'Komarum Puli'.

Shruthi Hassan is playing female lead in the film produced by Bandla Ganesh Babu under Parameswara Arts banner.
