Super Star Mahesh Babu-Samantha starrer 'Dookudu' is nearing completion. The film is currently shooting an item song 'Poovai Poovai' on Mahesh Babu and Parvathi Melton in a specially erected set at Ramoji Film City from September 6.

The film’s post-production work is also progressing simultaneously at Shabdalaya Theaters in full force. Except this song the film’s shooting is almost completed.

Dookudu is produced by Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta on 14 Reels Entertainment banner. Srinu Vaitla wields the megaphone while Thaman has scored the music of the film.

The makers are planning for a massive release of the film on September 23 with record number of prints in Mahesh’s career.
